Excellent for office. Would have been good if the strainer bit screwed on the base. One should be careful not to slip. Otherwise great. I love that it has a carry case. Beautiful and practical for loose tea lovers like me.

Lovely tea infuser, the glass cup/receptacle is double walled & good quality. Comes in a nice hard-shell case for travel/storage. I recommend both product & seller.

I was looking forward to getting it because I currently use a metal infuser in a normal mug & have to have an extra mug on my desk to put the infuser in once my tea has brewed. I also think it looks good. Unfortunately, it only fills half a mug, making it impractical. I opted for the 270 ml version, thinking this would be enough to fill a standard 250 ml mug. It turns out the infuser chamber can only actually contain 180 ml - so when I filled it to the brim, it only produced half a mug of tea. To fill the glass, I would need to return to the kettle twice & I don't think my boss would be happy about me faffing around so much. Instead, I've been filling my mug from the kettle & pouring half of its contents at a time into the infusion chamber but this inevitably results in spillages on my desk, not to mention I still need my mug, which rather defeats the object. So it's not great for the office unless you have a mini kettle next to your desk & I definitely wouldn't use it at home as I'd constantly be up & down. I feel the description is misleading there - describing it as '270 ml' should mean it brews 270 ml with one use. It's a pity because this is an elegant way to brew loose-leaf tea. The glass at the bottom is thick enough that it's cool to the touch even when it contains freshly boiled water, although it does look like I've let a sample pot on my desk. The whole thing's slightly wobbly, so I had to be very careful taking it to/from the kitchen when filling it that way. Half the instructions emphasise handling with care as the glass doesn't screw to the top - so why didn't they just design it to screw together, since they are clearly aware it's an issue? Also, the mechanism which prevents the water from entering the glass is just a ball-bearing covering a hole - when you press the button, a metal rod pushes the ball up, allowing liquid to flow down. This too is fiddly & deserves a better design - I suspect it may leak in time. I really like the idea of this but I can't recommend it as it stands. If they improve the design, double the size of the infusion chamber & give a more honest description regarding the capacity, then sign me up. Until then, sadly it's just not practical.

Bought this for my wife who loves tea, it works really well, easy to use and brilliant for making the tea to your liking (strong or weak).
