Great product . For a good price

I needed a charger for 18650 batteries which could also determine their capacity. Most rechargeable batteries vary tremendously from their stated capacities, either because the claimed capacity is complete fiction, inflated, or they eventually lose capacity through age and use. For whatever the cause, it's really good to be able to test the capacities so you know what tasks to assign them, how to pair them up, or when to retire them. This charger can do that, in addition to charging the batteries..This charger seems to do a good job at testing the capacity. It does that by first fully charging the battery, then discharging while measuring the amperage expended, then charging back to full charge. The capacity it reports is repeatable, and roughly consistent with other measures. It does a great job charging, and seems to arrive at a reasonably accurate mAh capacity, but I deduct one star because it's not obvious to know where it is in the testing process. Also, it does not have a discharge only mode. If you don't need these capabilities, then it's a great charger/tester.Note: For those who want to charge 1.5v Li-ion AA or AAA batteries, it cannot be done in this charger or any other standard charger. The nominal voltage of Li-ion is 3.7v... the 1.5v "Li-ion" AA and AAA cells contain an internal buck converter circuit to reduce the voltage to 1.5v and require a special charger, the one that came with the batteries, to charge them.

I have tons of radios so battery recharging is a constant.Of all the battery rechargers I have, this LiitoKala LII-M4 4-Bay Battery Charger is the most sophisticated. All of my other rechargers are the plug in, place the batteries, and wait for the lights to change from red to green sort. This charger not only charges a host of different sized cylindrical batteries from AAA to 18650, but can also charge different battery types, Li-Ion, Ni-MH, and Ni-Cd. On top of that, with the exceptional display it has, it can show the capacities of the batteries inserted, the charging time, the charging current, and the voltage of each battery being charged. You get these individualized parameters for each battery by pressing 2 channel buttons.You may be saying, why do I need all this information. The one I was most interested in was the capacity info. Many battery manufacturers inflate the actual capacity of their batteries for a host of reasons you can begin to imagine, and none are good. With this info, I can verify that stated capacity is the actual capacity, and decide if I want to keep the battery or return it because the manufacturer or seller is less than honest.The other data points let me know how long the charging process will take, what the current and voltage of the charging process is, etc. All good info regarding your rechargeable batteries.The build quality is also excellent and the attention to detail is exceptional.This is, by far, the best battery charger I have, and actually that I have ever seen.10-stars!
