Very good quality. I have used it now for over a year and it's been the perfect tool for every case size watch I own and will assist in removing screw on case backs. Would recommend to anyone who is a watch hobbyist like myself.

I wasn't sure whether any of the watch vices (holders) would work with the three point back openers. I am sure this metal watch vice is a bit heavier than the all plastic versions. In my experience, I was able to fit a three point back opener on a seiko watch back and use it without interference from the vice. The vice works but is not of the best quality. The tolerances are rather loose so it is rather flimsy until clamping onto the watch. There is only the plastic holders shown in the photos. I have rather slim watches. Not sure how the vice and the plastic holders will work with thicker watches - such as a kinetic or a very thick dive watch. The plastic holders can be moved to other screw holes on the vice to flexibly hold larger diameter watches. Finally, I wish the shipping box had been larger to hold the vice with the plastic holders in place after its use to protect it in my tool bag. I may look for a separate case to hold it.

Nice watch movement holder. Heavy base. Keeps watch secure allowing you to use both hands while working. Phillips screwdriver needed for installing metal screws/plastic pins in place, which are removable and allows several size options.

This did indeed work for me but the quality is exactly what you’d expect at this price point. Indeed the movable jaw tilts when tightened, which makes sense, but it does make it seem like the watch isn’t held squarely. Holding force was very adequate to remove a stubborn screw-down watch back.

It mostly works.

Been struggling to get the back off my seiko solar to replace battery. Got it off in a few minutes using the case holder. Plenty of room on top to fit 3 point tool. Great buy!

Adds a third hand for working with family watches. Screwing down helps a lot. Quality as expected for price. Made wooden parallel jaws for small work.

This Dofover adjustable watch case holder is suitable for occasional use at home. The adjuster slides in and out properly. The plastic watch grippers screw in to the drilled holes. The base has holes so you can fasten the tool to a table. The knob is plastic. The base is a lightweight hollow casting.

This is a very poorly manufactured item which appeared to be a robust design in the photo, but is actually VERY thin and has no feet and a sharp base due to being so thin. It will scratch your work surface and there is nothing you can attach rubber feet to because of it's cheap shell-like design. It really is a poorly executed design overall and I was very disappointed as I had high hopes for it. For those old enough to understand this reference, it like it's made out of cap-gun material. It's a shame the manufacturer's were so concerned about maximising profits as it is a good concept, just poorly executed. If you only use it on a rubber mat it will be fine, ideal even, but if you have nice bench tops, this will scratch them. I plan on using it on a rubber mat only. It can be bolted/screwed down as the designer did put 4 holes in it for this purpose, but us watchmakers need be able to use it, then put it away. A wooden or even platic base would have solved this and then it would have been a superb buy. In fact, as I write this I have decided to do just that, make a wooden base.

Jaws did not tighten evenly, making impossible to hold watch securely. Had to disassemble and file down to tighten up movable jaw. Also orange bumpers are very hard plastic and don't grip as well as softer plastic would. A poor copy of a good vice.
