Best sounding Bone Conduction Ive heard, but...
I tried the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2, and these sound WAY better and play much louder. They sound a lot fuller than the Shokz, with airy highs, natural mids, no tinnyness, and surprising richness in the lows for Bone Conduction.Amd there is actually some bass with these!Be aware that Bone Conduction is never going to sound as good as in ear, on ear, or over ear headphones. But for what they are they are quite good, hence the 5 stars. They also fit with a little more clamping force to ensure good Bone conduction, which wasnt the case with the Shokz on my head.Plus, you get onboard music storage in addition to Bluetooth, and they are fully waterproof for swimming. The drawbacks are, slightly less comfortable and less unobtrusive than the Shokz, and you can really feel the low end physically pulsing into the side of your head, and there is a good but of tickling sensation from the sound vibrations. I didnt have that with the Shokz, but that's obviously the tradeoff for having more volume and more bass.If you might be bothered by the tickling and pulsing sensation, and sound quality is less important to you, then you might prefer the Shokz.

Very good sound quality
For context, I tried almost every brand of bone conduction headphones on this site. Keep in mind that bone conduction headphones will never have the quality that a good over-the-ear headphone or even in-ear earbud can provide.Summary: Best audio quality, for a high priceSound quality: excellent for bone conduction, rich and warm and full. Can feel buzzy at loud volume.Comfort: not quite as comfortable as shokz, but not badBattery: good - never tested to exhaustion.Call quality: goodOverall quality: very goodControls: always started in mp3 mode, couldn't figure out how to change that and it was kind of annoyingBluetooth: easy to pair to multiple devices, performs wellOther: came with the best case

Good alternative when you need to hear for safety but want to listen to music/podcasts
I primarily use these to listen to podcasts when working around the house or driving through town. They are easy to use and fit quite comfortably. They work even better when I am mowing the lawn and using earplugs. The earplugs seal out the loud noise obviously, but it also creates a better conduction connection with your skin so you "hear" what is coming from the headphones better. I do not use them for swimming, but I believe they would operate in the same way under those conditions. The battery life seems to be adequate. I only use them for short periods of time, and I do not need to charge them very often.I was able to Bluetooth connect them to my computer and use them as a headset, however they would automatically turn themselves off to save battery life every five minutes or so. It couldn't detect me using it with sound and voice call active, so they automatically turned off. For this reason, I would not recommend as a PC headset. I was hoping this would be an option so I could still hear my family if they needed anything.

Bone conducting ear phones
Really good for swimming, lower quality sound for anything else. If i push the pieces against my face a little harder sound gets better. Adjustments to make it fit tighter may help immensely.

First time with open ear headphones, and this delivered!
This is my first experience with Bone Conduction Open Ear Headphones. I bought them for pool swimming. At first I was nervous about the fit, because I have a narrow head and the fit wasn't as snug as I expected, but there was no problem with stability and they stayed in place comfortably. I didn't use the suggested ear plugs to minimize ambient splash sounds and the audio was just fine. The next day I took them for a run. Again a little nervous about fit security, but it wasn't an issue. Audio was great in the water with memory mode, and on the run in Bluetooth mode. If you're thinking about a pair of open ear headphones, I would recommend this product. Oh, and the case is great, keeps everything together and I just toss it in my gym bag.

Once the software is fixed, it might become useable.
The device seems well manufactured, but the software is terrible.Part of the problems, I faced are:1) When playing in MP3 mode, the volume buttons did nothing. If you pres and hold, they will switch to folder up/down, but the volume remains on max. No such problems when connected via BT.2) If you decide to use them for DuoLingo, the power saving cuts the first part of the word, so basically, you need to repeat it in order to hear it.3) If you connect two Bluetooth devices, and use number 2 for music, if number 1 disconnect, the headphones autoshut off, regardless of the music played meanwhile.4) At the battery level low, if the phone is used, with each noise you make, the device uses a bit power and then informs you, that you have no battery left. During this constant warning, you can't use its controls. Once the "Battery low" nagging stops, the device turns off.5) After some inactivity, the device switches off. It can't be used as headset. Or at least it can't be used if you are not speaking every 5-10 minutes.6) At the startup there is mandatory "Welcome to H2op Audio, battery level is XXX" which becomes annoying, especially with (5) in mind, because you are switching the device ON to answer a call... and have to wait for the intro.7) When playing in MP3 mode, you can't advance/retard songs. Either change folders or listen them one after another (At least the shuffle works).8) Unless you order the flagman, you can't use the app, even for firmware update.
