well first the pictures are false in the fact that one of them states that the whats included in the package and its says it comes with the GMMK 3 pro barebones. Ok fine thats a mistake whatever but then under where it list the info like brand color description and so on, under Special Feature (Aluminum Body, Barebones Keyboard, Customizable, Tenkeyless 75% Layout, Wired). Well when it arrived it sure was not an AUMINUM BODY, it was plastic and it wasnt a good plastic like they use to make many decent keyboards these days like the aula, epo, mchose, and so on, this plastic just felt CHEAP. Made it feel like a toy. The only thing aluminum was the plate. I never would have ordered this if i knew it was a plastic body. Sure i could have researched it and found out but the point of them adding the description on this page is so i dont have to do that. So i obviously returned it. For a brand that has been around a while, they dont seem to take much care in how their products and advertising are being handled.

I’ve been really happy with this barebones keyboard. It works great and feels very durable right out of the box. It comes with some test keycaps, a switch puller, and a keycap puller, which makes building and swapping parts super easy. It also includes a mini screwdriver and some extra small repair tools, which is a really nice touch in case you need to open it up or make adjustments. The RGB has a lot of different modes to choose from and looks really clean once everything is set up. It’s not too heavy, but still feels sturdy and well-built on the desk. Overall, a great base if you’re looking to build a custom keyboard. Would definitely recommend it.

Overall, this is a good barebones keyboard for the price. You get a lot of customization via the software which is neat. Build quality doesn't feel the most premium but definitely not bad either. My biggest problem I have is when I updated the firmware to version 0009 it completed bricked the RGB and would not light up or respond on the software, the way I fixed it was FN + ESC then F1 + F3 + F5 (Hold for 10 Seconds.) Everything worked fine after doing the factory reset but I get some occasional flickering on the side RGB light that I did not have before updating the firmware. If you can get this keyboard on sale, I would recommend it, just don't update the software and save your self the headache.

The more I look at it the more I hate this board, not even mentioning the price. The inside is hollow, the space bar has zero foam under it, hollow from the plate to the board and the foam under it barely dampens the sound. When looking at everything else especially at this price, it's all plastic, the bottom is two pieces because 'orange' so any extra foam with push this orange piece out an annoying amount. Acoustics are bad, build quality is subpar, and material is mediocre. You can get this quality fully built for half price or a barebones METAL keyboard for less than this board. Just enormously bad.

Great barebones keyboard, coming from a pre-order reserved GMMK pro user that broke, I knew I wanted to stay with glorious, so I got this on sale. It's an amazing size, and the LEDs, ergonomics, and build quality are all great. It's also got a little weight to it, so it doesn't scoot on your desk as much as, say, a 60%

Keyboard is plastic. No board flex though, it is acceptable. Software for keyboard is worthless. Firmware update broke the backlighting, had to factory reset to fix. Software app has very limited options, i uninstalled immediately after getting 1 color to shine. Back light on keyboard turns off after a few minutes of inactivity, unable to change this through their app either. I would recommend NOT purchasing this due to the software being so bad. Physical construction of device is fine.

second faulty board delivered in a row. i am not ordering this again and I will not recommend this to anyone to buy. 98% chance that some of the switch connectors are not lined up properly which makes the key effectively dead. i included a photo of what I am talking about. look at the A and X key. pretty sure I received someone’s board that they returned and they didn’t even bother to check it. very bad look. buy something else

I love Almost everything about this board! The only thing keeping it from a 5 star is the PCB durability. Other than that its pretty solid! Good value and easy to customize!

Klar hat etwas Flex wenn man es grob anfasst, aber auch da Knarzt nichts. Hatte keine Probleme beim bestücken oder mit der Software. Bin mit dem Klang auch zufrieden - nicht der Wahnsinn, aber solide. Folgendes kann ein Nachteil sein, wenn das für euch relevant ist: Es fehlt eine dedizierte Home taste. Diese wird über FN + End realisiert. Wäre die delete Taste oben wo das Logo mit der LED ist, hätte man rechts Platz für eine zusätzliche Taste. North-facing LEDs Die Leds zeigen nach norden, kann je nach Keycaps relevant sein. Siehe Bild.

All the keys work for me despite other reviews. Great starter board with a heavy and solid build. I like that the edges are taller too. makes for a slicker look

I purchased this because the Glorious I built a year ago has no volume control, and I wanted one with that feature. I was using a GMMK87 with a volume control, but I found this used Via software, and that software cannot control the RGB on every key individually, which makes it sort of useless for gaming. I know the Glorious would do this, so I ordered this base with the volume control. I sold the GMMK. Disappointed as soon as I opened it and discovered it's plastic instead of aluminum. Why is a plastic keyboard base so expensive? The GMMK cost less than half of this price. But it has better software, so I transferred all my switches and keycaps over. It's OK, but it's plastic. I would go back to my original aluminum Glorious if it had a volume control. This definitely not worth the money they are asking. To top it off, I installed the software. The RGB per key works, but more than half the patterns don't do anything, and just shut off all the RGB. So out of maybe 12 or 15 patterns, half of them Don't work. It seems these companies don't want to make decent software for their products. Next time I decide to build a keyboard (if I ever do again), it's going to be a different brand with software that works correctly. One good thing to note. This base has North Facing LEDs, and this will work on the vast majority of shine-through keycaps. (I still don't know why anyone would build an RGB keyboard and not use caps that shine though). So, if you are using top printed shine-through keycaps this keyboard will work perfectly. The only keycaps that may be a problem on this keyboard are the ones printed on the front (South Face) of the cap.

Two of the key positions were defective on receipt of the product. The software is very limited and is unable to map combinations (like shift + DEL) to other keys. (There's no HOME button on the 75% model and so it would have been nice to use key combinations to map things. In the end I moved right ALT to DEL and DEL to HOME.) The only reason I gave two stars instead of one is because the physical design is actually pretty good. It is easy to disassemble and to access all of the parts involved and the repair of the bad key positions was straightforward. The main issues are manufacturing / QA and the limited software.
