MARLENKA® Honey Cake with Walnuts – Traditional Honey Sponge Cake (1 x 800 g)

This is one of the most delicious desserts I’ve had in my life. It’s always fresh due to the wrapper and life shelf is short so it’s a good thing. We’ve already had this several times and everyone loves it and will always get when we have the taste for🤤🍰🍯

I was introduced to Honey cajes about 3 years ago back home in Sudan , it was nothing like I ever tasted before , very moist , and you feel warm inside, a reminder of all the good times in your childhood. I wasn't even a fan of Honey to begin with . I started making them at home even though it was a tedious process ! When I moved to Europe, I started searching for places that sell them . I have been craving something sweet Nowadays , and I came across this product on Amazon. Man was I lucky to buy it , it tastes very similar to the ones I used to get back home , and it will definitely be a stable for all of my friends gatherings. Thank you for selling this cake on Amazon . It ticks all the boxes for me when it comes to Honey cakes !

This cake was an expensive purchase for me, so an indulgence. And I don't regret it! To the contrary, this cake has cheered me up. It is a layered cake, with crushed walnuts added for extra flavour. The honey is noticeable as a kind of richness in the flavour. I find it is an ideal accompaniment to a mug of strong black coffee. UPDATE: I did an experiment. I cut the cake into four pieces, leaving one piece for eating that day. One piece went in the coldest part of the fridge, and the remaining two pieces went into the freezer. Each piece was in a foil tray, without a lid. The piece in the fridge firmed up quickly. Still enjoyable to eat, but in a different way now. The pieces in the freezer, once thawed out, were almost as good as when they went in - still soft and light. That was a pleasant surprise. So, if there is only one or two of you and a whole cake is too much to finish off in a single day, cut the cake into smaller pieces (four, five or six pieces), put each piece in a small tray, and freeze. Thaw out as needed.

I really loved this dessert; it’s light and leaves a delightful taste in the mouth. I also really liked the little Marlenkas that were sent as a gift. Thank you very much for this kind gesture.

This is without doubt, one of the very best cakes that I have ever tasted Light, rich and just about perfect, in my view they are worthy of any table. I have purchased many and, will most certainly be back for many more. Very highly recommended.

Sugary

I was surprised that a pre-made cake would turn out so well, but it did. It was nice and moist when opened, and stayed so for at least a week. Great flavour of honey and nuts. Very nice!

Freaking delicious cake!! Seriously is one of the best cakes I have ever eaten. My cake arrived damaged to the point of being inedible (not this companies fault) and I was so bummed out, but I contacted the company and told them what happened and they promptly sent me another to replace it. It arrived and my wife and I went medieval on it. Again, it was absolutely delicious. I will absolutely be ordering another once I burn off the calories from the one I just got. ;-)

Lagit! I just got back from 9 months in the Czech Republic, including several months in Ostrava where the Marlenka factory is. This cake is 100% legit!!! DELICIOUS. There is nothing that tastes like this, it is so unique!! You must try it! To je nejlepsi Dort na sveta!
