- Excellent quality, accessories
Key point, this was my first tactical light purchase for a firearm ever. Did a rediculous amount of research online and in several local stores to get see and feel in action. Result:- Excellent quality, accessories, and brightness for the price.- Lit up my 1 acre backyard and half of my neighbors acre when on the highest setting - incredible. This being clear line of sight for roughly 400 ft across and 450-500 ft out. Literally see all detail of objects, people, etc NOT dim fading and shady outlines- the pressure switch and included color covers fit and function perfectly- It is a bit on the heavy side but again for the price you are still getting great quality evident in the lubricated o-ring seals, the solid fit of all components.- SOS feature is a cool addition that may never be needed- Strobe will blind anyone without a doubt as evident in my kids and wife either on the floor or bumping into walls after looking- My only potential doubt is in the brightness adjustment. While it moves smooth and solid now, if this light were to have a fail point I imagine this could be it although don't recall any other reviews having issues with this...I haven't eithrr, just a movable part that opens doors for issues....but still love the ability to adjust otherwise I wouldn't have purchased- mounted clean and tight to my Mossberg Maverick, have not test mounted to AR...probably too heavy for regular tactical use on that IMO.All in all a fantastic light at a rediculously great price that for me an average shooter / home defence user will be more than enough.

Good light
Had this on my AR-15 for 10 months so far. It't more than bright enough for shooting skunks and a great way to help your spotter know where you are looking at while spotlighting. It hasn't given me any trouble and it comes with a lot of cool little extras(color filters, mounting hardware). Its not a light that I would trust my life to but definitely reliable enough for hunting.Pros-Inexpensive-Physical switch to select mode (much better than cycling the power button IMO)-Easy to mountCons-Cord switch was too long for my rifle and didn't work all that well-No focus-A bit larger than I would likeP.S. I just noticed that the price went up quite a lot since I bought it. At the $70 price point I would look at other lights. If the price drops back down below $50 definitely consider it.

Great flashlight
This is a sturdy and well made flashlight for use by itself or mountable on a firearm. I put it on my M&P15 Sport and it works great! It has six settings (four brightness, strobe, and SOS). The mount it comes with I found to be sturdy, though I have not had the opportunity to shoot since I put it on. I don't know how to judge "lumens" exactly, but it lights up my back yard which is about 60-70 yards long. Also comes with three color filters which do cut down on the brightness obviously but mount easily on the flashlight and are easily removed. The pressure switch works well but as you might read in other reviews, the pattern on the back of the switch inhibits mounting. Some people have successfully glued it apparently, but I just can't bring myself to glue it to my rifle. If I decide to use it, seems like you could strap in on somehow. I will update if I find any flaws with it, but so far it seems to be a great flashlight for the price, and really looks good on my AR as well.

Outstanding!
Holy smokes Dr. Jones...this thing puts out some serious light. The product rating of 550 lumens may be a bit conservative and though I lack the means to measure it accurately, the light output probably exceeds that rating. My HID headlights aren't this bright. If you're looking for a solid product to easily mount to your picatinny rail, which comes with a plethora of accessories, not to mention the impressive light output, then this is your item. You can feel the weight and solid craftsmanship of this light the moment you pull it out of the box. The only thing that may cause reluctance for some is that the remote pressure switch is not an ON/OFF function. Pressure must be applied to the switch to activate the light. Not a big deal of you mount the switch to a front handle or part of the quad rail where your hand is constantly placed. There's no doubt about it, if the idea is to have this for brightening up a dark space or seriously BLINDING some intruder, this light will do the trick!

Good light, the selector moves a bit too easily for a weapon light but a black rubber band solved that
Nice light, well built. I don't like how easily the "selector" moves I will have to do something to restrain that. The mount is basically ok but was useless for me I don't much want a 6 inch wide shotgun, but it's a 1 inch diameter light so most any good mount will work. The pressure switch is pretty good quality but the rubber is nearly impossible to stick anything to. I managed to modify a magpul moe illumination kit frame made for the surefire and it works pretty well. The light is very bright, and the strobe is also nice, bright and fast. I have it on a remington 870 mounted on a magpul forend with the forward set rail and an offset mount that I got here for 6 dollars nice and solid. So far so good, loctite was a good move I think.

Good quality, great price, incomplete instructions
This light was a great deal and so far it functions perfectly. The quality is good, the light is very bright and it fits perfectly onto my weapon's rail. The price was super and I have no complaints about fit or function. It gets four stars because the instructions are not clear with regard to the remote pressure switch. The remote switch is designed to turn the light on as long as there is pressure on the switch and turn off when pressure is released. This makes perfect sense in a tactical situation but nowhere in the instructions does it tell you that - you just have to figure it out (or read the reviews from others who have found the same thing).
