Honestly worth getting just for the amazing photos of the costume jewellery. I well written and researched book, great to add to my collection.

This book is brilliant. Lots of information, pictures etc and great for me starting a selective collection of vintage jewellery. A lovely book that I keep digging into

I love this book. A must for any vintage or modern day costume jewellery fan. Great pictures and narrative about the pieces throughout.

This is a real eye opener, my opinion of costume jewellry was never very high until I read this book,I'm afraid that if you are looking for a cheaper way of starting a collection you will have to look elswere, never the lessi think it could prove a fascinating hobby.

Costume jewellery is at least within the means of most of us and this book is a fair guide to what is out there. However I was disappointed that some of the makers were missed out or hardly touched on, Atwood and Sawyer merit more than just one photo of a snowman brooch and samples of more makers marks would be of benefit too for the collector. So, a reasonable guide but could be more of a bible if it tried.

This was interesting but the majority of items were high priced pieces so not as useful as I thought it would be when I trawl the car boot fairs and jumbles!!

Fabulous book to have in my collection. Wonderful illustrations and good information. A very helpful guide. Would recommend. Thank you.

もう一つある、同じ名前の Costume Jewelry (Pocket Collectibles) と同じ本です。（↑こちらはアメリカ・カナダ版？） 表紙違うので、うっかり両方とも注文してしまいました…。 こちらはヨーロッパ版のようです。値段が＄ではなく £で書いてありました。 表紙の好みでどちらかを買うと良いかもしれません。 （背表紙も表紙の字と同じ字体で書かれています） 写真がたくさんで、綺麗なので、モノとしてはおススメです。 見ていて楽しいですよ。 すごくよかったのですけど、かぶっちゃった残念感から ☆ひとつマイナスで、☆４つです。
