Can't fault the materials but it is certainly "rustic". If you have a modern living room it might not be entirely what you imagined. Very disappointed after the previous glowing reviews. The unit looks like it had been put together as a rushed job and no care was taken in ensuring it was lined up properly. One of the top planks was so far out of line that the screw holding it in place had split the inside of the plank it was holding onto.
