This is an incredible piece of hardware. It sounds great, packed with features, and plugins to start with. The buttons and knobs are satisfying to use. Routing options, integration with popular DAWs, it’s a joy to use. Near zero latency. With some very severe downsides. 1. It’s expensive. Plugins are expensive. Wait for sales. 2 . It is NOT bundled with a thunderbolt cable. 3. It is NOT just plug in and use. You need to learn routing to get nice use from it, including loop back. 4. Plugins have a learning curve if you are new or casual. 5. Prepare for workarounds for things like Discord or Teams. There’s native drivers that are wonky and limited for Windows. You will need third party drivers and software. It’s not fun to configure. 6. Make sure your computer meets the very picky requirements. Thunderbolt is still weird on x86 machines, and make sure your motherboard supports this interface. I cannot stress this enough. Look at it carefully. Call sales to make sure. Ask on Reddit. Check and double check before plunking money down. If you are ready to deal with the downsides, then this is a very good choice.
