Cube Archery Crossbow Target

Bought this a while ago and the instructions said to fill it with old clothes, rags etc. I don't have that many old clothes and I didn't want to rob a clothes bank. What I did have was old builders bags from Travis Perkins. I crammed them into the target cube and let loose. I even let my missus have a go (see vid) and if she can hit it, so could Stevie Wonder. The velcro lid strip is a little inadequate so I may wrap a strap or two around it to keep everything inside it but for the 30 minutes i peppered it with arrows to test it, I didn't bother. I am extremely glad I bought this and even if it only lasts 3 months I would have definitely got my value for money out of it and would buy another immediately.

This target will stop the highest powered crossbow bolts ... if it’s suitable filled with sheets and old clothes etc .. You will have to secure the opening of the bag with safety pins as advised or stitch with fishing braid as I did .

It is an expensive empty Dumpy Bag.In all fairness, the description does explain this at some point, and I should have read this, but it wasn't obvious at first. The main image shows a filled bag which I believed that I was going to get, and it seemed to be good value for this, but an empty dumpy bag could have been obtained from your local builders merchant.I wasn't impressed!I am being kind giving three stars because this was partly my fault for not seeing the description properly, but this should have been in the bullet points at the time.

No false advertising (assuming you read the whole blurb), but a bit of a caveat to be aware of.The bag isn't filled, It's a bag of a manmade fibre (NFI which one). 6 flat panels with a velcro strip on one panelIf you fill it with suitable high density material it will perform as described. The trick is FINDING inexpensive high density material. If you run a recycled clothing shop I guess it's a no brainer, for the rest of us...not so much.I got a 5 quid bag of foam offcuts from the local foam place, which works adequately with the little 50lb bows my boys have. There isn't a snowball's chance in hell it would stop a proper 200lb plus crossbow. If filled chock full of old blankets of heavy cotton then sure.

Very simple idea, a hard wearing cube bag that arrives printed on all six sides with multiple target faces ensuring lots of target fun. The down side is that you have to fill it yourself but that is clearly explained in the listing so I already had the required old clothes, blankets etc ready to go in it. Once filled and closed with the Velcro fastening it becomes a sturdy block target that will stop even my most powerful crossbow at just 10 feet and getting the bolt out of the target took just 2 fingers. So far it has taken all the punishment I can throw at it but at just £15 I will jsimply buy another when this one wears out.

Its just a 200kg dumpy bag! No fill and poor closing design. You can get a bag for 3 pounds at diy shop that works better as it has handles and can be hung.

This is a good idea to reuse old cloths etc, Just fill the bag and you have an eight sided Target Cube that is strong and is going to last a good while...to those that give it a bad review, "Read before you buy" it says in the description that you fill it yourself. Duh!

Great bit of kit. Stuffed with old clothes and rags, it takes a pounding from my Barnet Commando. Light, simple and versatile with targets on every face.
