Avon Skin So Soft Bug Guard is a great option for keeping mosquitoes and other pesky bugs away without that strong chemical smell many repellents have. It has a pleasant scent and goes on easily like a lotion, which makes it comfortable to apply. I love that it feels more like skincare than bug spray, but still does the job of helping keep bugs away. It’s an easy, everyday option for outdoor time, especially when you want something that doesn’t smell harsh.

I HATE bug spray, and hate the feeling of sunscreen, they’re sticky and yukky, but love working in the yard. I know I should wear sunscreen, but just don’t like it. Insect repellent really isn’t an option here though, and without it, I’ll get chewed alive. This is great, because I don’t mind a lotion so much and it feels much nicer than spray, not so sticky. Best part is that it gets me to actually wear some level of sunscreen 4 stars bc the bug protection isn’t perfect in the swamps of southeast Texas. It’s obviously effective, but an occasional skeeter gets through. Probably needs to be reapplied more than I do.

I am a mosquito magnet and a PNW native of Scandinavian origin so spending a week in the Yucatan is a challenge. I returned home yesterday completely burn and bite free, which is crazy unheard of thanks to AVON Skin So Soft Bug Guard. I've never written an Amazon review (that I can remember), but I really feel like this is a insect bite game changer for me. Even here in Portland the summers are a fight against mosquitos and this is going to make my life a little big easier and less scratchy.

I used this to keep mosquitoes away while working outside. I saw them fly around but they didn't land on me. Works very well.

Mosquitos love my daughter but she took this lotion on a cruise and not one single bug bite!!! It works!

It did okay keeping the bugs away but I had to reapply very often. It smells great and it goes on smoothly and doesn’t leave your skin feeling oily.

I have to say that the customer service I received after hi-lighting that I had to pay customs duty has been nothing short of excellent. Not only did they re-imburse my costs but also added a further £16.00 for my trouble. I would purchase again and fully recommend.

Everything about this product is amazing. It smells gorgeous. It goes on easiky. It moisturises without being greasy. And it works so well both for sun protection and as a true bug guard. Finally no bites. Just love it

Excellent, supposedly used by the army, mainly used by my wife who comes up in large blisters from bites when not using this product.

For the purpose of protecting my baby from midges in the wild, they really worked! I put some on myself as well, which kept both sun and insect away properly. But for such a tiny bottle, it is really expensive! I can only be grateful that babies are quite small and don’t have much skin exposed.

Smells nice but isn't as effective in the insect repellent dept as the spray lotion.
