So I got a new kitten recently, and she has an uncanny ability to knock things under furniture, or behind the dryer, or other hard-to-reach places. This thing is perfect for fishing those out of locations where I'd otherwise have to move large appliances to reach, or repeatedly try to golf them out with a yardstick. The built in LED light is obscured by the claw so it really only illuminates when you depress the plunger to deploy the claw, but when you do the light is adequate enough in dark areas. Not bright, but enough to aid your aim.As of this review the product description contradicts itself on whether batteries are included, so to be clear this DOES include batteries. It ships with a little plastic film that breaks the circuit to prevent accidental activation though, so you have to unscrew the cap on the plunger and remove that before the light will work.Translation issues notwithstanding, this is a perfect grabber. Tough too for its size, it actually hurts when I let it grab my finger.

Really well made, looks like enameled aluminum (handle and tip) and stainless steel (coil). Better than Lowes or Home Depot sell. No instructions, but goodness, remove from reusable plastic pouch, try out push button on handle, push grabber into drain, open little arms in tip by pushing button, and pull out the obstruction. My toothbrush came out with first try. I just wiped grabber down and slipped back In storage bag. Done. Took 30 seconds. Since it is folded in half, the bag is not too long to fit nicely under the bathroom sink.Great product. This seller has several variations of this grabber (some flexible, some permanently coiled), and describes the differences to that buyer can select right one. This is straight but flexible coil that folds for storage. Worked for my bathroom drain. The permanently coiled one can make that drain curve with less effort, but can snap back on you when pulling it out.Really pleased with the quality and ease of use of this grabber. Seller did excellent job of describing the different types too. Does not look like it will get all scruffy with the stainless steel and enamel.

Great tool to grab items in hard to reach places! The magnetic end was very useful and it is pretty strong for picking things up. The claw is also sturdy and the light useful. This is exactly the tool I was looking for: flexible, magnetic, claw, thin. Only four stars because there was a small gouge/dent on the end of the tool when I received it, but everything else worked fine.

Bought this to retrieve a small cap that fell down the bathroom drain. Tried using coat hangers but couldn't get the right grip and couldn't really see what I was doing. This was perfect. Retrieved the cap on 3rd try. Mini flashlight was a nice touch, but you don't get full strength until pushing the plunger to open the jaws.Will definitely be keeping this around for other random uses.Update: Discovered this is perfect for removing hard to reach dust inside a Dyson vacuum.

Every time I pull this thing out I I chant “the claaaaaaw”. This thing is amazing. Functions exactly how I need it which is to pull wires through tight crevices for car audio and an installation. It has lasted me a couple years so it’s durable, the light at the end is blinking so I need a new battery but the thing still works. The size is about 2 and a half feet so it’s like an extension of your arm and the magnet works well. Overall I have used this claw time and time again to pull wires through impossible scenarios where I would’ve had to otherwise remove multiple car panels before passing a wire through. Would recommend to anybody who has even a slight interest in installing anything electrical in their vehicle

This tool gets used every time I have to work under the hood of my pickup. I will always drop something where my fingers and hands just can not squeeze into to get. Not only does it have a magnet on the end that has some strong magnetic pull on it but the button style driven cable to operate the grabber claws on the end are a dream come true to grab that bolt that fell behind that other thing that's under this thing etc... oh and it has a light at the end under the grabber claws that is actually bright enough for it to be useful. The body of it can be contorted into many places and has good strength about holding its position. This is a great tool to be part of the everyday use category for mechanical work

From the luxurious red metallic finish to its superb flexibility these are more then mechanical fingers, they are a work of art. They have enabled me to excel in all endeavors. They can't, however, core a apple.

LED light doesn’t work. I removed the battery cover and tag. Tried it again. Nope. Switched the pole. Nope. This is a great product except for that.
