I bought this for making Almond and Peanut Butter. Works perfect. String enough to make a good size batch without overheating. But be prepared for the cleaning. It is really difficult to get all the butter or of all the nooks and crannies. It almost makes me reluctant to use it. But I suppose that would be the case with any mixer
