Consoles have finally met their home!!
This is my first ever review on Amazon!!! I've been shopping on this website since 2 years and go through other reviews and product info for about 2-3 weeks before buying anything And I did the same with this product the "Gaems Vanguard". Exterior First of the Build quality is amazing! Although it's made of some durable plastic exterior it can definitely take a beating on the road, I've used it for 2 weeks now gaming in my bedroom and at my workplace. The latches are not the best in the world but looks to me like they will hold their ground for a long time. The colour is a nice matte black with the log in the center, I feel it looks awesome and well done. Interior The only drawback I found is having to power the screen with a power supply. If they had used the technology like the other Gaems screen which needs only USB power this would have been amazing. The console will need to be powered as well. And the 2 soft carrying pouches I don't use or load anything in them although you can stuff a controller and cables, however cause of previous reviews from ppl saying it can damage the screen, don't want to take that chance. I carry a backpack with my controllers, wires and games etc. Coming to the screen, it's not Full HD 1080p I'm assuming it's 720p, and I say this because my PS4 didn't work the first time with the screen so I had to connect back to my TV screen and change the settings to 720p and walla!! It worked The screen is still High res and crisp and bright and does do games with awesome in game graphics really proud. I've tried the last of us, mortal kombat x and Call of duty and they look beautiful, except sometimes you can notice the flickering pixels in call of duty. Looking forward to black ops 3! The speakers on the unit are good for what they are in a portable unit, I use headphones so it doesn't really matter, however if your gaming with friends there's an extra headphone output. And yeah again the speakers will do the job in any average size room with about 5-6 ppl making all the noise they want. They don't sound like HiFi Bose or Sonys but they do have some clarity for gaming. for what it is and for the price I think it's an excellent product and let's me game conveniently at any place with a power outlet and at the same time i don't have to worry about using up a TV at home. Plus I can travel with it on my next trip to Thailand if there's something I'd like to see from Gaems in the future is maybe a lightweight Aluminium enclosed unit with a Full HD 1080 screen about the same size and USB powered or an added powerbank/battery which can be charged and used to power the Screen and console for atleast about 4-5 hours. I know it's a tough ask but hey everyone breaks the rules at some point. Overall I'm having an awesome time with my Vanguard! Thank you Gaems!!

If you need this, it's the best option.
*Update* After a week using this screen/case every day I'm much more pleased with the image quality and sound. The speakers aren't going to impress anyone but they're more than adequate for games and the screen's contrast ratio isn't as lackluster as I originally thought. This is, after all, a 720p screen with tiny speakers, and for what it is it works really well. The case alone isn't really heavy, and with an Xbox One it's perfectly reasonable to travel with. I'm really happy with it. The fact remains that the hinge isn't super sturdy, and doesn't self support, so if anything fails I feel like the hinge will be the first thing to go. But all in all I highly recommend it if you want to game during while traveling. *Original review* This is something you either need or you don't, it's not gonna work as a permanent gaming station for your home. If you have $350 to spend you're much better off getting an HD tv with better resolution, refresh rate, and contrast ratio. But, if you travel a lot and want to bring your console with you, this is basically your best option. My screen works fine, but the contrast and brightness leave something to be desired. Also, it's a matte finish, thankfully, so no blinding glare from all nearby light sources. It's not bad by any means, but it's about on par with computer monitors from 5-6 years ago. Some people have experienced dead pixels and other aberrations but I bought mine used from Amazon warehouse and it worked fine right out of the box! And even came with the Xbox one pad rather than the 360 pad. The speakers can get loud, but you'll wanna keep them under 50, max. Above that and they distort so much as to be pointless. Of course, the two headphone jacks in the monitor, or the one in your controller, are probably a better option for quality sound. The speakers are passable, nothing more. I appreciate that Gaems offers a portable gaming solution and I hope that future iterations will be more robust and considered. I have faith that they can do better as each version of their gaming case has improved upon the last. All in all this is the best option for gaming on the road, protecting your console and screen while you travel, and while I don't see it surviving baggage handlers at the airport, if you don't toss it around like a duffle bag, it should last you for a while. Treat it like you treat a 19in monitor in a plastic case and you'll be fine.

Fits my Xbox One just fine.
The case is awesome, just what I was looking for to take my Xbox One on the road with me. It arrived well ahead of the estimated delivery date. The strap had a small tear/manufacturing defect, I contacted the company and they had me a new strap within a few days. Great customer service. The case fits the Xbox One just fine, you can still fit items to the sides with no issues. There was a notice stuck to the screen and a sheet of paper stating to carrying extra items outside of the case when using it with the Xbox One, because it is bigger than the other consoles. Basically carry extra items in the case with the console at your own risk. Like others have stated, the screen looks great and the speakers are loud and get the job done nicely. It seems pretty sturdy when latched, and the d-rings clip on to the sides for the strap. They also seem sturdy, unless your really swinging this thing around I don't see them failing. Not a single complaint so far. Also, the power supply for the screen is dual voltage for anyone looking to take this overseas. That's one less thing to plug into a power converter or worry about frying in a 220 wall socket.

Expensive but worth it.
Expensive, but worth it. I bought this for those quiet nights at work. After all, my PS3 Super Slim is at home, all alone, being ignored by my wife who is not a gamer, while I am at work...so, this was a natural choice. After oogling at it for quite some time, I pulled the trigger and bought it for myself. First things first, this thing is heavy. When loaded with a PS3, two controllers, the small HDMI cable and the power brick, the case can feel heavy - not enough to break your back, but enough that you won't want to carry it for extended periods of time. I would recommend that you take it and put it on your backseat, flat down, with the two side latches against the back of the front seat and the backrest of the backseat - that way, it's not going anywhere if you hit the brakes all of a sudden. Inside, the screen is 19 inches on the diagonal. I have read reviews where they said that the screen is really 720p, but when I use the autodetect feature on the PS3 to configure it, the PS3 says that it is a 1080p screen. Oh well. The case is pretty well-designed, but was designed for an xBox 360, a PS3 original or the PS3 Slim - NOT the Super Slim. With every console except for the super slim, the disk slides in through the front, but the super slim loads like a PS2 - slide the top to the left, fit the disk on the center piece and slide the door back into place. This is not a big deal, until you realise that the velcro straps fit across the top of the console, preventing you from loading or removing a disk. So, you have to remove or just slacken the straps in order to load or remove disks every time. The supplied HDMI cable is about 6 inches long, but it is rather stiff, and its orientation is off, because you have to twist it to fit between the console and the input on the screen, which is right behind the console, when mounted. As a result, the loop sometimes gets in the way if you don't put it right - recommend getting a different cable, or cut a longer one and use it, like I do. When transporting it, make sure to pack it properly, otherwise the side latches don't close properly. Also, even though it is not written, there is actually a top and a bottom - this is to prevent damage to your game console, which can damage the drive assembly if transported upside down, and to prevent the console from leaning against the screen, possibly damaging it. While the velcro does hold it in place, better safe than sorry. An Xbox One is HUGE and barely fits inside. There is a removable padded base for the console, which sits on the inside of the base of the unit. There are ridges inside, presumably from the molding process, or for reinforcement. The padded base serves to protect the console from these ridges and to help the console sit properly inside. The Xbox One sits EXACTLY between two of these ridges, with about a millimeter of space on either side. Then, if you pack that console's power BRICK inside the case, along with the screen's own power adapter, there is no space inside the case to carry a controller, which kind of defeats the purpose of the entire case in the first place. Picture quality is great. There are settings for "Game", "Movie" and so on, like with any actual TV. There is even a TINY remote control, like what you might get with a car stereo. When the screen is on, there are two blue lighting accents on either side of the monitor. Some people might find them distracting, but I find that it adds to the overall esthetic of the unit. But then again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There are built in speakers, which are surprisingly loud. They don't provide immersive gameplay like a surround sound system, or even headphones, but they are good in a pinch. No real bass, but speech is clearly discernible, music is clear and loud and movies are good, without having to turn up the volume too high. What really surprised me were the 2 headphone ports. General thinking would be to put one port, but they were thinking about sharing audio with a friend without disturbing others. The case itself does take a little abuse, but it scratches somewhat easily. One time I had to put in my car's trunk and it bruised its handle against the inside of the latch assembly of the trunk (was doing repairs to the car and the upholstery was missing). Quite frankly, I would recommend this more for the portability, rather than the "protection" that the company is selling in the commercials and reviews. Overall, I like it. It is expensive, but worth it. Will update and put up some pictures when I can.

Awesome investment for the traveling gamer!
I bought this on a whim but honestly it's the best piece of gaming equipment I've bought since I bought the PS4 that I now use this for. I took a new job where I travel way more frequently and have to live in hotel rooms. Besides dealing with crappy hotel internet, this thing makes gaming so easy! You just pop it open, plug the screen in, plug the console in, and you're ready to go! It even comes with an HDMI cable so you don't have a long one from home curled up to span a 6 inch gap. If you're worried about sound quality or color quality, don't be. There's dual speakers, two headphone jacks and it even comes with a remote which I would compare to an aftermarket car stereo. The screen's 19", 60hz, and full 1080p. Honestly between traveling and toting this to my girlfriend's place, I use it more than I use my home tv. And let's face it, this is way cheaper than a home tv! If you're on the fence about dropping $300, it's literally worth it just to be able to move the console around without awkwardly wrapping up the console in all of it's cords and cramming controllers and games in a bag. If you just sit at home to game and never move your consoles, then keep scrolling. Overall, this is a 10/10 easy.

Awesome
i ordered this product via Amazon warehouse and it was stated to have slight damage to the outside of the case. I couldn't be happier with the g190. All that was missing was the logo. The screen is a great size and has no glare even in direct sunlight. I am even able to play with a friend and share the screen with no problems at all. The speakers leave a little to be desired but are more than adequate for their size. It also has two headphone jacks even you'd prefer. I was able to fit an Xbox one, all cables and power supplies (including the screens power supply), and one controller in the box without any problems. I don't think you can fit two controllers in it with the Xbox one, but maybe could with a ps4 being that there's no power brick. There is room to put a couple of game boxes on top of the console and shut the lid without them touching the screen but I don't feel comfortable with them sliding around in there. But you could if you were so inclined. I travel with this to and from work on a river boat and so far it's been great. I set it up and take it down daily with no problems. Perfect little gaming set up.

For a few people this is a priceless purchase
The picture I posted is just to give an idea of how big the screen is for those of you without a reference or a measuring tape. Now to start, i wouldn't consider this in itself an all in one case , as i don't keep everything it says you can carry in it all at once, the packing time would be way too tedious, plus you need somewhere to put games, granted you CAN carry just one game(in the case of course) on top of the system between that and the screen . it doesn't make me nervous to do so. But getting back to carrying accessories and cords I would pair this with a backpack no problem. Also, this mother weighs a wholloping 30 lbs with everything included. Unless you think your shoulders are in good enough shape I might not consider actually carrying it for lang walks. The shoulder strap I cannot vouch for as it makes me nervous to even look at. Will not use I don't think. I will suffer the combined weight to ensure the safety of 500+ dollars worth of equipment and electronics before I trust a (well constructed, gaems, im sure) plastic hook do that for me. But in summation, besides everything that ive listed thus far, its a banger product :) beautiful graphics and sound. Im old school and have been playing on a tube (that's a glass screen/non led HD tv those of you that don't know) for as long as I can remember. This 19" has better definition than even the biggest glass screen TV I've ever owned. The plug for the controller is a little bit of a tight fit under the lip of the case but I do not think is at risk to damage the cable. ItsThe headphone jack makes this a considerable use for playing privately or at 3 oclick in the morning if your old TV didn't take headphones or blutooth. not the MOST convenient thing in the world but if your like me and move often and don't feel like lugging or buying a new TV for wherever life may take you, I just considered this. You cannot get a product like this at the price it is right now. One of a kind and will most likely be that way for a while great buy. Take care of it if you do buy. I have been taking considerably good care of mine for the few months I've owned it and no problems yet. Ask me if you have any questions , I'd be glad to give you an answer asap.

Is your TV screen sometimes completely flushed and won't display? Here's how to fix it
How to fix the TV screen when it's completely flushed out and not displaying. This happens VERY often when you turn it on IF your PS4/Xbox is already turned on. If you turn the screen on first, wait for it to display, then flash black, then display again -- and THEN you turn on your PS4 it will NOT have this happen anymore. If you turn your PS4/Xbox on at roughly the same time as when you turn on the screen it will often times force you to turn off/on the screen multiple times. I thought my screen was broken when I bought it and was completely disappointed. Luckily through testing and messing with it I've figured this out. Also, if you have to have your game system on when you're about to turn on the screen, just unplug the HDMI cable and wait for the screen to load before plugging the HDMI cable back in. That's another workaround. As for the product itself -- I'm a big fan. I think the screen is an appropriate size to be engaging enough without making this thing ludicrous to carry around. It's fairly heavy (especially with a PS4 in it) but that's because you wanted the big screen right? The screen is also pretty good -- it will allow you to play in HD which is all that really matters. The sound with headphones plugged in won't play all of the game sounds. When I play sports games all that plays is the crowd noise/gameplay noise. Announcers will not make any noise and some of the other game noises will not play either if I have headphones plugged in. The sound otherwise is a bit cheap but it's not too detracting. I bought this for my deployment and it's allowed me to play in my room and I'm happy with it overall. I feel like it's durable (it's lasted me 6 months so far) and I like that I can use it as a case for my PS4 as well and not have to worry too much about it. It's pricey but you're getting what you pay for. Hope this review helps.

Gadget Excelente

Really Good Product
I purchased this just shortly after Christmas as a gift for myself. I'm in the older crowd but been playing video games all my life. My wife wasn't happy that I would disappear into another room in the house to play my games and leave her alone watching TV. So the initial reason for purchase was that I could be in the same room as her when I wanted to game on one of the consoles. I was initially just looking for a monitor that I could attach to my systems but came across this item and after reading the reviews decided to purchase it. So far so good, I have not used the sound on the monitor that often just one time and as the other reviews stated it is slightly tinny but nothing that you wouldn't expect. It was a little bit bigger than I thought it was going to be, but I am alright with that the portability of it is great, now I will have no issues with taking my gaming with me when we travel. I've had it now 3 days and I am extremely satisfied with this product, I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a way to travel with your gaming, or even someone who lives in a small space and doesn't want to argue with the wife over playing your games while she wants to watch TV.
