Rit Powder White Wash 1 7/8 Ounces

I had a very good pair of white capris that got transfer stains from a blouse. I was very unhappy. I thought I’d give this a try. It totally took out the colors. So I have my pants back. It smells terrible though. Price to pay, I guess.

I was thoroughly distraught when I realized I had washed my NICE white shirts (appx $150-$200 total) shirts with a lime green Post-It note somehow. Needless to say, the ink ran into my white shirts leaving noticeable lime spots all over my shirts. Worse yet, I didn't notice the spots until after I had dried them. I really REALLY didn't want to contribute to any new rags, so I decided to put the money out for this little 1 oz. miracle worker. And, I would have to say, it went above and beyond my expectations. Even after rewashing my shirts and boiling them in hot water, the stains never ceased until I performed the stove-top method with the Rit White Wash. 15 minutes on the stove, then back to the washer to wash out the Rit. I'm pretty sure the whites are brighter than when I bought them... Beware, they will completely remove any color from dyed fabric, as I lost a bit of color in one shirt. But the loss was well offset by the positive. Highly recommended!!!

Works great! Got out all the armpit stains that I couldn’t get out with shout or oxi-clean.

Great product! I had some red dye transfer onto some white clothes. I tried everything. Oxyclean, vinegar. If it was on the Internet I tried it. This product was the only thing that worked. The directions are not in the box I had to look it up on the Internet but I would buy it again if I needed to

I just wish this product was coming bigger boxes and would last longer say .

Zum Entfärben völlig ungeeignet: Dieses Produkt wurde mir von "Rufus" , dem Assistenten, zum Entfärben vor dem Neufärben empfohlen. Ich habe es dann aufgrund der Beschreibung des Artikels bestellt. Ich wurde schon stutzig, als ich die Gebrauchsanleitung auf der Packung las, denn da steht nichts von Entfärben, sondern nur zum weiß Waschen eines vergilbten Stoffes. Ich habe es trotzdem versucht. Das Ergebnis: Das Baumwollkleid ist genauso wie vorher!

Fantastic stuff. Turned an expensive old yellowing shirt bright white ♥️ Make sure to read the instruction! I used the hob method followed by a quick hand wash before turning to the washing machine 💕

White as a sheet!

This product requires a boil wash! So although it states that you can use on synthetics I certainly wouldn’t.
