The 1st time I used this I clearly did not put enough on, I had a drink and something to eat I can't remember what but the bottom one came loose I was disappointed. So the next day I put more on and it was great held all day long I even had a sandwich from Greg's the long ones that are crusty and it help amazing I could bite into the sandwich and break it off with no problem at all. I have only had my dentures for around a month and it is the 1st time I have been able to eat properly. Highly recommend this stuff. Yes, you get some if it stuck on your tongue and the sides of your mouth but just wipe it off and you are good to go. I put mine in around 8 am and at 22.00 pm I had to use hot water to swill around my mouth to loosen the teeth. I call that a really good day, did not have to worry about them at all and felt very secure.

Fixodent Professional works much better than others I have tried, including Poligrip Power Max. The Poligrip product doesn’t stay in place and on removing the dentures leaves uncomfortable sticky sliminess all over the gums that is very difficult to remove. In contrast, Fixodent Professional stays put much better. When it’s time to remove the dentures, leftover adhesive sticks to the dentures, not in my mouth. This is a slightly more expensive product per ounce, but I end up using less of it.
