ideaspark ESP32 Development Board Integrated 0.96 Inch OLED Display,CH340 Driver,WiFi+BLE Wireless Module,and Micro USB Works Great for Arduino/Micropython(Pin Header Soldered)

After seeing several negative reviews, I almost did not buy it, but then decided I would try it. I followed a YouTube tutorial. Using the built-in examples, they worked. I was able to modify the built-in example and get them to work. I have some experience with Arduino. I like this device and will consider it for future projects.

The integrated OLED and overall MCU flexibility have made this model my go-to ESP32 device! I've loaded multiple diverse firmwares onto it, and run many many sensors with it under the Arduino IDE and PlatformIO. Plus, the battery connector faces *outward* so it is incredibly easy to access!

This module has a huge hardware problem - Wifi does not connect unless serial monitor is active in the debugger. This means that wifi can't be used in standalone mode. It can be "worked around" by connecting a 330 ohm resistor from EN to GND but then the serial port is disabled.Also know that the top line is hardcoded yellow where the rest of the display is hardcoded blue. Not a huge issue but it's not a true color display as one might think.
