Perfect Replacement.
Exact "like for like" replacement fire door retainer and works perfectly, especially during Fire Alarm drills.

Dorgard should supply a new floot plate
We bought this 5 months ago to replace a similar model that had lasted several years. As no new floor plate was supplied we left the old one in place. The Dorgard Fire Door Retainer does not reliably attach to the closure plate and will emit a beeping sound even with new batteries fitted.

Replacement for broken item
Direct replacement that was good and this is the latest model with the new push button set up.

Faulty
Was easy to install but had issues after 3 weeks of it not holding the doory open and constantly beeping, changed battery's and still wouldebt work. Tried contacting the seller but no responce. £120 for a product that doesn't work

Works but too many niggles.
Not as easy to fit as claimed. The last one I bought had a notice in it saying that the floor plates would not be supplied in the box any more (to reduce waste! (more like to save a few pennies)), so unusable without a separate purchase. It does work but churns through batteries (even good quality industrial Panasonics and Vartas). The batteries are still at the lower end of the good range on my battery tester but won't power this. Can't take rechargeable batteries as voltage is too low. Occasionally need resetting by removing the batteries. Annoying beeping whenever there's a problem - just flash the led. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a viable alternative - if there was I'd buy that instead.
