Twin Draft Guard Air Conditioner Cover

its a lot to big..i mean the pull cords are nice they fit around the air conditioner great but the fabric in the front just hangs cuz its big.on the package it shows how flush it is with the unit.not true..but overall it does great it keeps the cold air out.so if your thinking of buying it people,buy it cuz its great for the money,keeps the cold out even with the fabric big in front,so yes i would tell everyone to get one...bigger air conditioners are better but if your like me and can cope with the fabric big on the front,sides do fit,though,then buy one..works wonderful..

I bought the first one to cover one of my bedrooms window ac. Found it very easy to install and does the job. so I got a second one for my master bedroom. The quality it is not heavy duty, and it still has to go thru washing to know its true durability. This cover is not good for air conditioner that pop out of the windows too far as cover it is not too deep. But all in all, it is a good one. I would recommend it.

I purchased 2 of these and they do an ok job on the front of the a/c. At least there is good coverage there and less cold air is coming in. The sides are skimpy and there could be at least 2 inches more fabric to cover the seam where the a/c meets the opening. There is a crack of space that is uncovered and cold air comes through. I had to get cloth tape to cover that area. I could have sent them back but was just too lazy. Not the best purchase I made.

Very adjustable using the draw strings, so you can really get a tight fit. I always put a thick layer of clear plastic sheeting (using painter's tape, so easily removable in Spring) over the front of the AC first, because this cover doesn't really provide much thermal protection. Would like to see this come in different colors, though. The color provided--which seems to exist across several brands--isn't the nicest, and certainly doesn't go with our décor.

I got this one instead of the other cover with lines instead of diamonds for the appearance factor.Yes, it's kind of cheap & not as thermal as maybe other ones but it's very easy to attach.To help it even more with keeping our room free of a cold draft, I folded some fleece fabric I had & put it underneath. The strings were able to keep it there in place.I love our room now that it's winter! It's very appealing.

Does its job blocking the cold air from coming through the vents in cold weather. But you must place the piece of plastic that comes with it between the product and the air conditioner vents. If you don't have that plastic item, use a substitute such as a piece of towel.

I have a fairly large 12,000 BTU air conditioner in my kitchen window that was a total pain to install, so I didn't even want to attempt to remove it when fall/winter came along -- but I knew that it should be covered (on both sides) for the colder months. I found this indoor cover on Amazon and from the description it appeared that it would fit well. When I received it, I opened the box to find what looked like a tablecloth or some place mats that my grandmother had in the 1980's, barely thick enough to block a small breath much less a cold draft. I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt, so I tried to install it and in no way shape or form would this accurately cover my air conditioner. The drawstrings were a complete joke and there was no way it would stay in place. Thankfully I was able to return it and get my money back, and now I have a towel covering my air conditioner which is prettier and blocks more air than this cover ever thought about. It looks to be a great idea, just not for every air conditioner out there or for those concerned about decor. I gave it two stars because Amazon is awesome.

My room got significantly warmer as soon as I installed this cover. I used to always feel this annoying breeze when I go to sleep (as my airconditioner is directly next to the bed). The cover does its job of preventing that draft from coming in, and it also fulfills the insulation that it promises.My AC is a small window unit and the cover is too big for it. I expected that. All I had to do was tighten the cover enough to fit my AC. It does look a bit lumpy on small units, but I'm perfectly fine with that.
