Quailty is lacking
I would give it 3 1/2 stars if I could. I decided on this case because I had good things about Fractal and figured the extra $20 over say the NXZT tempest 210 or Antec One would equal a higher quality product. That wasn't so, in fact it's pretty shoddy. The motherboard plate's threading is crap and you have to use pliers to forcefully screw the mobo mounts in. I also had trouble with the expansion slot screws as well. I would think for the price of this case that shouldn't be an issue. Another problem I had was with a normal HDD. I could have done it wrong, but the HDD didn't attach securely to the drive bay slot. The slot is too wide to attach from the side which left me mounting it on the bottom. This worked fine for my SSD, but it left some wiggle room on the other drive.Pros:looks nicecomes with 3 fansssd 2.5" supportnice cable managementmiddle hard drive bay can be removedCons:Threading is awfulZero instructionsPriceHonestly, save yourself some money and get a similar looking case for cheaper. I don't think this one has much to offer that the other don't offer as well.

things could have been set up better for parts to fit
this case was a bit of a pain to work with, things could have been set up better for parts to fit, and it would be really nice if it came with a set of instructions, but it didn't. It was just ok.12/2014Update. This case is about to be replaced for Christmas. It is not incompatible with my motherboard but the options are very limited for my MSI A88x-G45 board. The case is still a pain to work with as the side panel to close the case never latched on correctly and I have had other people try to latch it on and none were successful. Overall i would not buy unless you are completely positive that the case is suitable for your motherboard.

Amazing case.
Perfect case for me. Comes with 3 fans and a 15w single channel fan controller, keep the 15w in mind I plugged in two 1350rpm fans and a pwm 120mm high rpm delta and fried it. I had no motherboard tray threading issues, the threading is a little wonky for the side panels but manageable. Great airflow and size, the front panel comes off for cleaning the front fan intake air filters. If you want a great case at a great price this is it, I'm satisfied.

My favorite case!
This is probably my favorite case ever! I don't know what to say other than it's awesome! I really like how it looks and how the drive bays are laid out.

DON'T use the supplied golen motherboard standoffs. Avoid
SUCH a shame, all the ideas behind this case are perfect, but cheap implementation prevents it from being worth the money.. Go with the USB 2.0 version for now, if you really need front USB 3.0 port buy BitFenix 4 x USB 3.0 3.5" bay (which I have and seems to be flawless).Indeed some threading issues, they should have had better quality control. However I don't find the problem in the motherboard plate, those are the mobo (golden colored) *screws* which are DEFECTIVE. Honestly, I don't think I could ever remove my motherboard from this case since it's stuck. Maybe a plier will help but it's gonna be a risk (harming the MB by accident), so I better never remove the MB from this case. If you insist purchasing it, buy 3rd party quality stand-offs.The good: lightweight chasis (easy to transfer) with relatively high stands & modest dimensions. I didn't use the fans however since I prefer PWM fans like the Enermax UCTB12P. Loved the HDD panel & organization.I especially liked:* The front 2 fans are tooless! Yes! No screws to attached. GREAT IDEA* The foots\stands are relatively high, so easy to transfer. The highest I've seen- Like.* Doesn't require much desk space.. Not bulky. I think it's important Fractal understands there're people who don't want those R2\3\4 big heavyweight monsters on their desk* They provided 5.25" to 3.5" adapter which's very nice and useful. Some other brands neglect that.* I can compare it to the Xigmatek Midgard II since I have them both. The midgard II is easier to work with but its dimensions are a bit bigger (so pretty obvious), a bit more bulky. I can't decide which of them is 'better' since they're just different. For water cooling go with the Midgard II however, it's more spacious. The Midgard II doesn't suffer from ANY threading\screws issues, and the provided accessories there are higher quality. It cost 25$ more, but COME ON - chasis will serve you for at least a few years. Given the current stock of the Fractal Core 3000 USB 3.0 is quite defective, I'll go with the Midgard II for now.Not so great:Not much place befind the motherboard (in future version I'd like it to be increased by 0.3mm aprox, not too much since the case should stay silm).I did not like the external coarse finish. It's too abrasive, I'd prefer it to be SMOOTH metal (but not the extremely slim cheap kind).Overall, the idea behind Core 3000 line is great and they should keep improving it with time. Also improve Quality Control which's laking.
