Great performance and value, incredible scent
As a home cook with oft dry and cracked hands, this soap works wonders! It smells great, actually neutralizes strong cooking odors, cleans effectively and leaves my hands feeling moisturized. The pump works really well and dispenses a small but adequate amount - the higher cost is therefore offset by how a little goes a long way.Bonus - the bread yeast actually leaves your hands smelling faintly of bread, OR, if you're a dog owner like me, of a freshly bathed doggo (dogs have yeast on them that makes them smell faintly of bread)!

It works
Product: Naomi bergamot and black pepper after-cooking hand scrub. This soap has a pleasant, surprisingly light scent considering the dense-sounding olfactory profile. It's nice to have around just as a luxury item - significantly better smelling than standard grocery store hand soap and has a nicer feeling. The little beads are a nice sensory touch, though I maintain doubts about the usefulness of those things in any soap. It's a wonderful upgrade from regular hand soap at a lower cost than most of the luxury brands.I was skeptical of the producers' claims about this soap's ability to neutralize odors so I ran a couple tests. First, rubbed my hands with some minced garlic for 45 seconds, then let the oil dry into my skin for 1 min. Washed for 30 seconds under warm water using two pumps of soap, dried, and I could not detect any garlic scent. Second, rubbed a tablespoon of oil from a tin of smoked oysters into my hands for 45 sec and waved them around for 3 min to let it dry and soak in. Couldn't think of any scent harder to abolish. Washed under warm water for 30 seconds using two pumps, dried, and the smell was still noticeable but significantly reduced. Would've been comfortable holding hands with my partner at that point, but washed again and the smell was only detectable if I huffed my hands like a bloodhound. Don't think I would've been able to smell the oysters if I hadn't been smelling specifically for them. Worked for 20 minutes and washed again, and there was just the scent of the soap with a scant hint of oysters, like I was catching a whiff of a seafood joint on the next block every few huffs. Good enough for me.Overall, great soap in an aesthetically pleasing bottle that has the added function of removing food odors a bit better than Dawn or whatever bulk stuff your kitchen uses. Good buy for a home cook that wants to balance the appearance of your kitchen with functionality. Excellent gift idea. Give it a try. I'm curious to try the other scent.

Already bought another bottle after my first use
The media could not be loaded. In short, this soap had a great smell, a luxurious feel on the hands, washes off cleanly and smoothly, and leaves a nice lasting scent after completely erasing any food smells I've gotten myself into yet.On my first order, the box arrived nicely sealed and in good shape. Upon opening it, I could tell it was packaged with care by a detail oriented person. Inside was the safely wrapped soap, 3 "trading cards" from other users, and a hand written note from the seller thanking me for my order. It was a surprising presentation for soap I bought on Amazon! After releasing the pump lock, I gave it a couple priming pumps and soap started flowing nicely with no lasting drops on the spout. It smells good while washing and for a while after. It does a good job soaping up the hands and you can feel the scrub working. It washes off nice and clean, but leaves you feeling more moisturized than dries out. I was definitely smelling my hands 30 mins later. Use the following day was just as good, with no pump priming needed. On the first night I ordered another bottle because 8 had to share it with a friend. Now, it's not a cheap soap, but it's not meant to be. So far from what I can tell it's a good quality product designed and sold by someone who very clearly pays attention to detail. So do I like I did and get yourself some fancy soap, because I bet you don't have any (yet).

A gem of a find. Goodbye stinky, smelly cook hands.
A phenomenal find.I love cooking at home, but when I do one thing I don't love is the feeling (and the smell) from all the prep work before sitting down a meal.Enter Naomi - A hand wash that is clearly high quality, that works in a nice lather, that seems to keep my hands smelling (and feeling) clean for a long long time. I love the scent of this bottle - the bergamot, sandalwood and black pepper remind me a lot of Le Labo's Santal 33. A wonderful scent that I can't imagine many not loving.Quality of the product aside, the aesthetics for this brand are slick. The blue bottle with oversized sans serif text is a bottle I'm happy to have on display in one of the most special rooms in the house - the kitchen. I wouldn't have thought of "soap" as making a good gift, but I could see any home cook enjoying receiving a bottle of this. Finally, love this is a true mom and pop company too made in Los Angeles. Feels nice to support vs. "big soap".
