MICRO-AIR EasyStart Breeze 399 RV AC Soft Start Kit

Was easy to install on 12 year old Dometic AC units. Worked great on both units. Only one issue- compressor on one ac was drawing normal 12-13 amps before install and 17 amps after. Removing easy start unit didn't change amp draw, still high. Reinstalled the Easy-Start and amp draw remained high. Possible the compressor is about to fail. Fortunately it’s simple to remove the Easy-Start and reinstall on a new unit, but in the meantime that AC seems to be running well. Later followup - problem solved - the run capacitor on that AC unit had failed. Replcaed the capacitor and all is well !! running at 14 amps as expected. Should have checked the run capacitor as part of the process to install the Easy Start !

Worked great. I installed it myself as it was not difficult. I now can bring a smaller generator. I’m very happy with this product. It comes with everything you need. I would buy it again.

Awesome product for my 30 amp RV. Prior to installation, my generator/inverter would shut down when the a/c turned on. My a/c unit would also throw the breaker when I plugged it into the house 120v-20amp outlet. We have no problems whatsoever now. Works as advertised. Easy starts and reduced amperage usage. We did have to call customer service for assistance because not every a/c unit is the same. That assistance was exceptional. Because I was hesitant to make a mistake, the service rep even used FaceTime and gave us step by step instructions to help during the installation. We appreciated the personal attention given to make sure we were able to use their product. Very happy with the product and will add one of these for each of our home units.

Bought this and installed on my fifth wheel air conditioner so I could run it off my Honda 3200 generator without the startup spike. Came with installation instructions that were fairly easy to follow and got everything installed and up and running fairly quickly within about an hour. So far, works as promised with no issues and I’m pretty happy with the results. I wasn’t sure if the results would be worth the price especially since there are cheaper knock off versions, but feels like one of those things you’re only gonna buy once and product seems very well built.

I can run my rooftop air conditioner 15,000 BTU with a 2000 W Honda generator. And it’s not difficult to install. I would recommend this highly to anyone.

Product works great on our boat CruisAir unit. The reason for a 4 star is the directions or should I say the lack of clear instructions on how to install. What should have taken maybe an hour, took 4 hours. The unit is great and worth buying but be better prepare them you think.

Had my dealer install it and it works just like it should.
