If you've ever tried unflavoured BCAAs or similar, then you will know that 'unflavoured' supplements often don't taste great and this Muscle & Joint supplement is no different. The taste isn't so much 'terrible' as it is 'unusual'... it's almost like drinking blended sand or flour something. It's unusual and not pleasant.All that being said, I'm pretty used to this. I've been training in the gym for around 20 years or so and so I know that not all supplements taste like strawberry milkshake. What I've been doing to combat the taste is mix this with a hydration supplement and I've found that this goes a long way to masking the taste.The dosage matched what I was looking for. The studies I've looked at suggest that around 1500mg of Glucosamine helps with joint health and inflammation. Collagen was a bit harder to narrow in on, but based on studies I read I was looking for somewhere between between 5-20g. This is on the lower end, with only 8.1g and so I tend to go with 1.5 scoops of this per session.After a couple weeks using this now, I do feel like I'm more recovered after each session and that my body feels less sore. I know that the kinds of ingredients in here are more for the long-term though, so I'm keen to keep using it and see how I benefit over the course of a year rather than a few weeks.

This is my second tub and definitely notice the benefits! It’s a product that works gradually over a few weeks, so don’t expect an instant effect like you might get from a pre-workout. But trust me, the results are worth it and my knee pain is completely gone now, which is amazing!I’ve seen a few comments about the taste, but honestly, it’s not a standalone drink. It’s meant to be mixed with something else, like juice or a protein shake.When you use it as intended, it blends perfectly with other flavours, with no clumps or weird aftertaste. I combine it with the Icon Whey which is a great match!The ingredients in the muscle and joint are really impressive too.

This is an unflavoured supplement so is best taken with something else such as a pre workout or even recovery drink. It’s hard to ascertain the benefits in such a short amount of time but it seems to pack a punch. There are a lot of ingredients in this, some of which I have no previous experience of or knowledge. I’m not sure I’d get it again as it’s rather expensive for something unproven.

Essentially, this is a multi-mineral formula with glucosamine, chondrotin and MSM. If you've ever taken supplements for arthritis and stiff joints, this should be fairly familiar. There are also collagen peptides added which contribute a decent amount of protein (7.3g) per 12g scoop; however, collagen protein has a different amino acid profile to that which can be found in protein powder and whole food dietary sources, so are not directly applicable for muscle building, but better for repair and production of skin, hair, and nails; but as they don't actually list the amino acid profile, even that is hard to tell.While this is unflavoured, it tastes pretty bad by itself when mixed in water. I think the best description I can give is bitter and chalky with hints of marine, and it lingers even when mixed with something else like a flavoured protein powder. I notice that they don't specify the source of the collagen peptides, but previous products I've used employ either a marine source (fish) or bovine (beef); this tastes more like the former. Glucosamine is often made from shellfish exoskeletons, but can also be derived from fermented grain sources, but again, the source isn't stated. This may also be contributing somewhat to the taste.It's hard to recommend this. You'd probably be better of with tablets, as the dose will be over quickly with a liquid or food of your choice, and it will be cheaper. The multi-mineral doesn't provide anything more than RDA, so if you already take one, you're not getting anything more here. Look around at what other options are available.

I ordered this looking to maintain my joint performance. It is easy to drink with my regular protein powder and I can't taste a difference mixing it with the protein powder. I like the ingredients of glucosamine and collagen so I don't need to take the glucosamine separately. It is priced at £29.99 at the time of review for 30 servings, which I think is reasonable considering the quality.

This has been formulated for post-gym use, and while it’s not particularly palatable (in fact it’s the opposite) it does contain a number of key ingredients producing beneficial effects.For me, the joint protection is of prime performance because I think I can almost feel my joints grinding together, causing bone erosion as I train. This may just be my imagination, however!You get a good-sized tub for your money, but it is fairly expensive, as are most formulations that are worth taking these days.I’m currently using this in combination with another product, and there doesn’t seem to be any conflict between them after a month of taking them together.

Quality ingredients, easy to use, dissolves well and works well. Recommended.
