I had same experience as some others as in I bought the gift card from amazon opted to recieve the virtual card thru email. I had to contact them 3 separate times about not recieving the email. I finally got the email like 6 hrs later. I went to make an online purchase using the card and the purchase was declined.I tried several more times with the same result of declined. I went and found the number to check the balance on the card and there was .50 ¢ on it. I contacted support at Amazon which the first cs rep i spoke with claimed i was going to be refunded. 3days go by and no refund. So i contact amazon again this time I get put on hold while they "looked" into it. (if by some miracle anyone at Amazon reads these things, maybe you could instruct the Customer Service Reps to leave a detailed account note so that everytime something happens to the connection i don't have to explain why I'm calling to every single person that I talk to. It is astounding how many times a connection is suddenly lost between cs and my phone. I had to reexplain the situation To no less than 4 ppl The ability to comprehend what i was explaining to them which simply put is i paid 50 bucks for a gift card that was not able to be used because It had 00.50¢ on instead of $50.00. After like 30 min my account said the cs had left the conversation. In the following 5 min 4 other cs reps joined the conversation all of which made no contact with me then left the chat. As of 5/10/25 Amazon hasn't done anything except make me believe they are in on the fraud.

Amazon send me a notification to verify my information, after filling out the online form I received an email to use the gift card.
