I absolutely love this meat tenderizer. The suction cup base is awful. It doesn't hold. I fixed that problem by placing it on a silicone mat that grips the bottom and keeps it in place. I can throw the mat in the dishwasher or wash it by hand if needed. The machine is easy to set up and take apart for cleaning. I use it to make cubed steaks for sandwiches. It has worked beautifully on every kind of steak I've run through it, from tenderloin to bottom round. They include a brush for cleaning the rollers. The rollers are accessible on all sides. No guards get in the way. There's a plastic guard that fits on top of the rollers. It protects my fingers and guides the cuts of meat cleanly through. The price was great too. I wish I could find accessories for it. It's fun to use and easy to store.

I didn't want to leave a review until I was sure. I researched lots of meat tenderizing gadgets. I have many hand gadgets but I wanted something like in the store but not too expensive. This little machine does the job. First I tried chicken which it says not to do. The first few pieces were great. Then yes, they did stick a little to the grinder but I did them anyway. Next time I will oil the jaws a little but it does work. Now I did pork chops. I removed the bone and put it through twice. It's wonderful. Like steaks. I just live it. It holds firmly to my counter top with the suction. At first I couldn't get it but keep trying and then it will always work. Just manage to learn how to do it correctly.

Works ok. I bought this wanting to make my own pork cutlets instead of buying them. I got thin cut boneless (obviously) loin chops and ran them through the tenderizer. It did tenderizer but I was expecting, I guess, what my grocers put out where the meat is really penetrated. The chops were about 1/4 inch cut. Maybe I should try 1/2 inch next time and see it flattens it and really penetrates that meat. The setup was amazingly easy and felt very sturdy with the suction cup on the bottom of the plastic base. The handle locks in and has a little slide that needs moved down to remove the handle. Tge tenderizer itself is sturdy and stainless steel from what I can tell. Has a nice heft to it. The base and the handle are top shelf dishwasher safe but the metal tenderizer is handcwash only. A really cool thing is this tenderizer can be attached to a Kitchenaid mixer and be used that way. It also seems I got someone's return. I noticed what looked like pliers marks on the handle as if someone was trying to forcefully remove the handle. Remember, it has a slide on the base that needs to be used. I did get tender meat and it did remain in place during use and the tenderizer is quality metal. I just feel I paid full price for what looks to be a used item. Buy with a touch of caution.

Horrible, horrible product, meat need to be super thin and tough. Anything ticker then half inch will not go through. You can tenderize slised bacon lol this is the only thing that will work for. Update: was trying to mount it to the granite countertop and the locking mechanism broke right away. Will not recommend and will not purchase another one. Never again!

needs to adjust thinner, it doesnt tenderize thinner pieces well 1/2”-3/4” is ok and only if you put it thru both ways a couple of times.
