DJ Laser Lights, U`King 5 Beam Effect Sound Activated DJ Party Lights RGBYC LED Music Light by DMX Control for Disco Dancing Birthday Bar Stage Lighting(2PC)

Purchased the unit for my mancave/garage and it is beautiful. There are reviews about it being noisy, and while there is some mechanical noise from the whirring motors spinning the mirrors that can be heard at times, whenever the lasers are going to the music, the noise is completely downed out by the music being loud enough for the microphone on the unit to hear and move the lights to the beat. Mine is mounted approx 14 feet high and I have an inexpensive fog machine which completely takes the lasers from a cool 2Dfloor show to a 3D room filling laser show. The 5 outputs all track together on the units programed functions. It may be possible to have different results in the DMX programming, but I am only using the factory modes and am very pleased with them. I uploaded a video that shows the columns of light and angles looking toward the lasers as well as the patterns that are being made in the right lower corner of the screen. Without having to learn to program or have a controller board, this is probably one of the best lights on the market. In a year or two, I may venture into a more advanced laser system, but for my mancave, hanging out and late night dancing, this little light is bad ass!

Ok so let me start by saying, i expected these lights to be MUCH MUCH bigger than they actually are. Please watch the video so you can get an idea of the true size. Lets get started, I got these for a halloween setup I do. (fog machine). However I know most might want it for parties or clubs etc. Its great for all the uses. You can control the light pattern better with the DMX controller, however there is switches on the back to do the same. I set it once and pretty much leave it. Pros and Cons Pros: * SMALL! Much smaller than anticipated, It makes me even want to pickup more of these to get a better effect. * Easy to use, literally turn on and let it do its thing. * Metal frame - Nice for those strong mounts needed * Rubber feet under incase you want it on a table. * 2 handles/mounts for ceiling mounts, the handles have holes in the middle for a ceiling mount with a tightener to angle it. * The light patterns are bright and clear Cons * Loud! The reviews that say its loud are not kidding. Now dont get me wrong, mine will sit somewhere, where the noise wont matter. But if you have it on in a quiet room, you will hear it. But for those who use it for a party. Youll never even notice it. The video i posted does show the noise if you are curious, its the motors moving the reflectors inside. Overall this is perfect for what I want it for, I may pickup a DMX controller just so I can change patterns, which is nice if you sync multiple light units like this.

DJ’s lights amazing but for people who use it you have to have it in a dark room and you have to use fog if you want to be able to see the lasers most people don’t understand you need to have fog to make it work correctly the smaller, the room, the better the effect it also has an attachment that you can connect it to a DJ set up if you have that I don’t do that. I just use it as is and it’s still an amazing product. It’s lasted a long time. I’ve had no issues with it. I recommend it but a little bit expensive for the strength of the lasers but it’s a great for any party or game night that you have going also great for those Halloween trick-or-treaters

Make sure you get the one with the remote control! Seriously, you'll wish you did. I have used this by itself, and it does okay. The laser patterns that it cycle through are kinda goofy for parties. But because this is OpenDMX compatible, just about any DMX console should be able to control it. I have mine working with a MacOS laptop, QLC+, and the DSDTech USB-to-DMX dongle. My only complaint is that there is no way to manually control the lasers - you have to choose one of the programmed patterns in order to get something other than a stationary laser dot.

15 years into owning a bar and regularly replacing stage lights, and they still cannot come up with a better mounting system. You get on a ladder, one hand to holds the unit over your head, and the other hand holds the thumb screw to feed it through holes while somehow expected to put the rubber washer between the bracket and unit with your third hand, while the undersized bracket gives you 1" from the ceiling to get your three hands in there. This unit is WAY worst than similar mounting systems that are already bad, the tiny bracket offers 1" clearance making it 4X harder, plus this unit has TWO mounting brackets, making it 8x harder. Unfortunately the engineers that invented this never came out in the field to mount one themselves, they designed it on a table top. By miracle, I got 3 of the 4 thumbscrews/washers in place (the last one impossible), which seems enough to make it work. My shoulders are still sore from holding this thing over my head for an hour. I am 100% certain I could invent a simple and better mounting solution in an afternoon. I would love to hand the U King engineer my drill, screw gun, ladder, and the 4 thumb screws and washers and let him show me how he mounts this thing to my ceiling at my business. While me and my customer point at him and laugh.

I can confirm that this is actually a really good laser for the price. One thing to keep in mind is that it has a very large and wide range which can be a lot if it’s a small space

These lights are ready good. I'm a Mobile DJ. And these lights are a great addition to my college of lights.
