No info in listing on weight so on delivery I found it to be very lightweight. I had expected it to be twice the weight so obviously that's why it's much cheaper than higher quality heavyweight liner. 2 rolls together are lighter than 1 roll of higher quality insulating matting of the same size so the soundproofing & vibration dampening isn't going to have the same effectiveness as heavier weight material. Due to the above it will require 2 or possibly even 3 layers to achieve required results. I've not used it yet so can't say how good the adhesion is for ease of fitting but can't see there being any real issues with this & even higher quality insulation sometimes needs double sided tape to help keep it securely in place. Ease of cutting won't be an issue even with plain old kitchen scissors given how lightweight it is as only the heavier types with a more compacted rubber sound & vibration absorbing layer can be slightly harder to cut without the use of stronger scissors, shears, or the likes of a Stanley Knife. JUST TO NOTE- This isn't the correct product for radiator insulation if that's what you need, yes it can be used for that but to do a proper job you need insulation that's both foil backed & foil faced. This is actually (as most of the listing displays) for sound, vibration dampening, & thermal insulation, mainly in vehicles, boats, etc but also other applications such as boiler rooms & cupboards & heat/warm rooms etc, so although it can be used for radiator insulation it's not the ideal product.
