Seems great for seb derm
Like many, I've tried various products/combos for seb derm on my face (particularly forehead/eyebrows/above lips - I wanted a non-steroidal alternative as I often get it near my eyes and using steroidal creams regularly is so damaging. This cream is gorgeously smooth, and smells faintly pleasant. I basically use it as a moisturiser after washing with BioDerma Sensibio once or twice a week, then use this for maintenance daily after a water-only face wash, as well as every few days alternating this cream with Daktarin anti-fungal cream to prevent build up of nasty funghi. I think the alternation really helps keep seb derm at bay. I also wash my hair with Nizoral shampoo once a week, with a weaker regular T-Gel anti-dandruff shampoo in-between just to keep anything hidden in my scalp migrating to my face. Most importantly - the cream seems to work. I've definitely noticed much reduced redness in general, making my skin look overall less blotchy and more even in tone, and overall less spread of seb derm symptoms on my face and forehead. People have noticed how much better my skin is looking. Its not cheap, but it seems to be lasting quite nicely as you don't need loads of it to get a nice moisturised feel. I still get stubborn little patches of seb derm around my eye brows, but these feel more "targeted" now and I can sparingly use Eumovate steroidal cream to deal with them quickly just on those little patches without feeling like I'm slathering steroid cream all over my face any more. The cream also makes your skin feel soft and nice. Overall, a great soothing product - it definitely helps with the seb derm itself a lot, but its main thing for me has been that it massively reduces that overall red blotchy/slightly shiny look typical of seb derm which overall makes the skin look so much better and makes me feel more confident. Will have to see if it continues to work as well or if my bad skin adapts..

Seborrhoeic dermatitis
I had a little seborrhoeic dermatitis on the side of my nose. I knew nothing about SD and I thought it was dry skin. It wasn't until I started getting red blotches on my face that I went to the doctors. The Dr said it SD and gave me some hydrocortisone/steroid cream. It would bring my face up way worse and made my skin angry red. I wasn't sure what to do but thought if it works then this must be worth it. Cut a long story short steroid cream is horrible for your face. Looking for an alternative I gave this cream a go. My expectations were low as things like this never seem to work. For a few days nothing happened. In fact, if anything, it it made it ever so slightly worse. But after around a week my skin was so much better and in 2 weeks my skin looked practically normal. I now use it every other day or so on my problem areas and it keeps it at bay. The sides of my nose never look 100% normal but we'll enough other people wouldn't notice it. And my face is perfectly clear. I only apply a very thin layer in the morning and at night. And on hot days, when I'm likely to sweat in the day I won't use it until the evening when it's cooled down. The redness has been gone since Iver been using this (around 2 years) and I'm only on my second tube with loads left. It goes a long way and I don't need to put much on. Just a small dot on each cheek and a little more on the side of my nose. Ps for a daily moisturiser I use Cerave. It's good for SD and without it I get slightly flaky skin. As a 43 year old male I never expected to have a beauty regime. But needs must. I don't usually write such long reviews but it was horrible for me and my hope is this helps someone else out. My skin is good enough that nobody could notice I suffer with Seborrhoeic dermatitis. And if I get a bit that starts to come up red, I just pay extra attention and apply the cream 2 or the times a day until it settles again. Don't give up on the cream for atleast a month. Be diligent and hopefully it works for you as well as it has for me.

Real world, real person review.
Ok, so for context im a 40 something bald guy with a dry scalp that I can literally pick flakes of skin off. It's not nice and can get sore. After a shower my scalp goes dry and flaky like all the moisture in the skin has left and from there its dry an irritable all day. If this is something like your condition - then read on because bald dry skin scalp treatments are few and far between and the skin is sensitive and thin needing probably more love than many appreciate. Condition wise, it's never been diagnosed as anything other than over production of skin layers and I've tried a lot of psoriasis or dry skin preventions to no avail. Either they are too strong containing Salicylic Acid and can't be used daily, and when used soften and strip the top layer of skin down too far, or they do nothing and leave you feeling oily. I then investigated something called Seborrheic Dermatitis which had properties similiar to my symptons though not as bad as the photos online could be. Sebclair came up in those searches and off to Amazon I went. So how has Sebclair helped? I'm using T-Gel sensitive shampoo which does an ok job of cleansing the scalp, I still have elements of incredibly dry skin after a shower but its not as bad as general shampoos. I then use Sebclair straight after a shower to moisturise and soothe the skin and begin its work neutralising Seborrheic Dermatitis. This over the course of 2 months every day has reduced the dry layers and improved the skin condition dramatically, BUT, there are still patches of dry flaky skin. The cream does a really good job of masking these throughout the day. So it does improve the skin, it does reduce the inflammation and coverage, it does provide a mask for anything remaining and isn't very oily. BUT, it does not in this case solve the problem. But I'd settle for a reasonable looking scalp over nothing at all so if this is you, try it. It does work.

This is the first time I write a review for the many products I tried against my seborrheic dermatitis. I have had seborrheic dermatitis for 2-3 years, and it was constantly worsening over time. I tried several other shampoos and creams against it that did not really help much (Nizoral, Selergo, even prescribed cortizon creams). This cream made the redness fade for 80% or so in 2-3 weeks, and spots are drastically reduced. So no complete healing yet, but almost! I use it in the evening at 6 PM and before bed. I've been using it for a month now, let's hope it lasts!

It's the best cream for dermatitis seborreica

About 6 months after visiting a friend with dogs, I had an intense face reaction (Dermatitis and/or Seborrheic Psoriasis.) My skin was turning red, scales were produced on my forehead and beard area, skin was hot, and any cream put on my skin was painful / skin would sting. Also there was terrible itching, sometime so intense it would wake me up through the night, needing to scratch my face intensely. Scaling was severe after showering, and frequently had to 'rub off' the scales after drying my face/hair with a towel before applying moisturizers. I tried several creams/treatments/recommendations from pharmacists / ChatGPT, which I list below for your information and, hopefully, assistance. But the only cream that 'repaired' the damage and finally cleared this condition was SEBCLAIR. Note that I had to apply this cream several times a day, and occasionally, a few times within an hour, especially after shaving. It took a few weeks for the condition to clear completely, but now I have great face skin, perhaps the best I had all my life. SEBCLAIR was the ONLY cream that wouldn't make my skin 'sting' when I was putting it on. It never made my eyes tear (like other products) and could be applied without issues around the eyebrows, around the lips, without any strange sensation, smell or taste. I've been very impressed on how well it works and how mild it is. Also, it is primarily based on shea butter, without intense pharmaceutical ingredients. Please note that during showering, I also washed my face with Denorex with Mentar (which I don't think is available any more) and/or Selsun Blue Salicilyc Acid Shampoos, which helped a lot in reducing skin inflammation, before using face creams. And, although painful, I found cheap after shave to help in managing itchiness after shaving and before using any creams (weird, but true!) What other products I tried and how well they worked: 1. Aloe Vera gel: cooled the area and helped initially, but the effect only lasted a few hours. Soothing, but, ultimately, not therapeutic. 2. Dermo Scribe (Amazon) Seborrheic Dermatitis Cream, Eczema Cream, Specifically formulated for application to Itchy Skin, Redness, & Scaling, For Face, Chest & Scalp, 2 oz: I only used this cream once. It seemed to work, but the smell of the cream was off-putting (it contains Sulfur, Hydrocortisone and salicylic acid.) Also, when used around the lips, it created a strange taste in my mouth. It could potentially help people that require faster healing, but, because of the above, I couldn't continue using it. 3. La Roche-Posay, Toleriane Sensitive Creme (Protective Soothing Moisturizer): This was recommended both by a Pharmacist and ChatGPT. It is one of the best and milder creams to use for moisturizing the inflamed skin. However, in my case, the soothing didn't last and itching would return after a few hours. Also the skin would sting somewhat while putting it on. But the moisturizing effect was visible and lasting. I could understand why it is highly recommended and may work well with others with milder symptoms. 4. FRUDIA Avocado Relief Face Cream, Calming Korean Face Moisturizer w/62% Avocado Extract, Centella Asiatica & MadecassosideX4 for Dry, Sensitive Skin (Amazon): This was my second favorite after SebClair. (I had tried an avocado-butter based cream while in Europe which actually worked well in soothing and protecting the face as well as reducing itchiness, but since I couldn't find anything similar in here in the US, I looked for avocado-based creams on Amazon.) The FRUDIA Avocado works beautifully. I stays on the skin longer; protects, sooths, and moisturizes. I still use it after shaving and to maintain softness / calmness. Highly recommended, especially for people with milder symptoms. I hope my detailed write-up offers some ideas / helps some of you with similar problems.
