Simple and "could be" effective.
Dont expect Fantastic BUT as a deterrent and a "bit" of peace of mind go for it. Pretty loud and maybe enough to put the opportunist of and leg it or at least alert you. To be fair a Good bit of kit for the cost. I have on on my garage and now this in my van.

Good value, reliable deterrent if your mains powered alarms fail.
Works very well, good and loud. I use rechargeables and they last months despite me tripping it frequently. Effective deterrents if the mains fails.

Great product, poor remote control
Remarkably effective for the price. Small and unobtrusive, and yet works effectively and packs quite a noise when it goes off. The remote is wireless so works through doors and walls. And CP Van tell me I can operate it off the mains via an adaptor and micro USB cord, so no need to worry about batteries going flat (I have not tried this yet). Only four stars because there is no entry delay - if you forget to unset it then it goes off immediately you walk into the zone. Also, the remote is wrongly marked. The button marked to unset it is actually the one to change for it chiming to full siren. And vice versa! Plus there is a SOS button which is unnecessary on a simple alarm - and it is at the top and if you hit it accidentally the siren goes off.

Great value diy alarm
I purchased this for £20.79 on a black Friday special promotion. On opening the box I was impressed with the quality of the alarm unit as well as the key fob. It was extremely easy to install you just put in the 3 AAA batteries that are included (You can plug it in to a cigarette lighter if desired) and I stuck it to my vans bulkhead with the self adhesive pad which gives it a really strong fixing. There is 2 modes one that just makes a noise when it detects motion like when you walk in to a shop and the alarm mode. I am impressed with the sensor as it picks me up as I open the rear and side doors of my van. One thing I was very impressed with is that it detected me in the driver cabin of my van even though it is fixed to the back of my bulkhead facing my back doors. The alarm is pretty loud but to be an added deterrent I will try to buy the optional extra speaker that you plug in to increase the volume. This probably doesn't rival a professionally fitted alarm but at the price I don't think you can go wrong. There's also a panic button on the fob that could be helpful for a confrontation. This is also suitable for other applications eg sheds.

Great little portable alarm
The alarm is really compact and size and can be positioned on a surface or attached to a wall or ceiling. It comes with screws or sticky pads to attach it. The unit comes with batteries too so you can have it setup in minutes. The setting up process took me less than 1 minute and was really easy. It comes with a chime or alarm to alert you of movements, you just press a button to change it. You can activate/deactivate the alarm with the little fob, this worked from outside the garage with the door shut, this is useful. You can get additional fobs if you need them and these can be paired to the device. I have set it up in my garage but this would work perfectly in a shed, caravan, or a porch to notify you of a movement. I tested it and it works perfectly. The alarm is loud, I did a test during the day and i could hear the alarm clearly from upstairs. It would be even louder in the dead of night. I am really happy with the alarm and I would recommend this as great value for money.

Alarm for shed
While this is a good alarm it has gone off for no reason quite a few times. I have tried moving the covered area but I still get false alarms.

Install, instructions, use and tech support
Bought to add another layer of security to my van. Fitting was easy and the instructions clear and easy to understand. I fitted mine to the bulkhead behind the drivers seat. Angled so it covers the side and rear doors. The sensor is designed to pick up horizontal movements, so it doesn't trigger the instant the door is opened, but as soon as it detects movement, all hell breaks out. It's actually quite loud. Not so loud with the doors closed, but loud enough to make a thief jump out of his skin and run away. Which is exactly what I want. First I'm testing it with the batteries it came with to see how long they last. But eventually I'll use the USB power connection and power it via my deep cycle battery which powers my portable fridge. Update. After a week I removed and tested the batteries. All were still ~ 1.5V. That's great. Things I wanted to know were: 1. Can I leave the batteries in and connect the USB power at the same time? Would this damage the alarm? 2. If I used rechargeable batteries, would the USB power recharge them? 3. With batteries fitted and USB power connected, which power source would the alarm use? I emailed tech support and got a response within 48hrs. That was a bit slow, however they did apologise and said they were having email issues. Yes, you can leave batteries in with the USB power connected. It won't damage your alarm. But remember, discharged batteries will leak. Which can damage the alarm. No it does not recharge batteries. With batteries fitted and USB power connected it uses the USB power. 2 things I've noticed is, just like mobile phones and other push button devices. Buttons can be accidentally pushed when it in your pockets. So be mindful of that happening. And if you use a USB device, make sure its one that stays on. My first one switches itself off when it thinks it's not required to power anything. 4 stars because tech support were slow. 5 stars for the alarm unit. I'll update this review when required.

I love these little guys!
Bought 2 for my garage - they work as indicated. I have one pointed at my side door and the other at the main bay door, both paired to one remote. Nice and small, easy to install wherever you need them. Alarms are loud and remotes work well (and at a distance). Best things about these: - Remotes are interchangeable with each alarm - You can program multiple alarms to one remote (and multiple remotes to alarm groups). So buying 2 alarms means you can have a spare remote - Alarms can be powered via micro USB (but you must buy your own USB cables to power them). Very handy to avoid battery replacement! If you can, get an "elbow-jointed" micro USB cable as the cord can get in the way of the mount. That said, I positioned mine as needed without issues.

Faulty Motion Sensor Alarm
Sometimes, the Motion Sensor Alarm would not arm itself. At other times, the Motion Sensor Alarm would go off even when it wasn't armed.

Animal Lovers Must Have
This is a must have for me. I may buy more. It's loud enough to detour my Beagle from eating everything in sight when I remember to turn it on. I have cats that fight when they get close. They pretty much ignore it but it alerts me when they get near each other's territory. Animal people have so many uses for this alarm

Well made and very loud for such a small unit.
So far so good. Nice and loud and pretty accurate with detection. Easy to install and comes paired with remote. I have it installed in my garage and it’s sensitive enough to arm and disarm from inside home. There seems to be a USB port on the side, but there’s no instructions on what it’s for. Would be nice if batteries could be recharged from the wall socket. So far weather is not too cold; the real test is in the winter. Overall a well-made product.
