Calculation of Drug Dosages: A Work Text

I'm in nursing school..I'm doing my LPN to RN fast track.This book is by far one of the best Dosage calc workbooks that I have had.gives step by step math instructions,gives you more than one way to solve any problem and also has plenty of practice problems! I got this book along with my class book.Honestly,it made my class a breeze. I ended up passing my class with an A!

I love this book. It goes step by step on how to do the calculations and the book also explains it in a couple of ways. At the end of each chapter, there's additional practices that you can try and the answers are on the back too. This book have really helped me pass through the math part of my nursing school and it is very helpful too.

Was on time and exactly what I needed at low cost to help get me through my first semester of nursing classes on a budget!

I bought this for my girlfriend who is entering an accelerated nursing program. She needed to read the first 5 chapters and take an entrance exam on it. It's a good book with decent explanations as to how to do basic 5th grade math (that we all forgot). I gave it a 4/5 because I explained some of the math to her and it was easier my way than the way the book was showing her to do it. Other than that, it was a good book and informative. Refreshes your memory for how to do basic math.

The book was very informative and had a lot of nifty math problems to work with. I appreciated the information from it in order to do the quizzes. The difficulty level was appropriate for this course. Overall, I've enjoyed using this text and having it for this class.

If you are a beginning nursing student don't hesitate, have this book on your shelf. I use it every semester when refreshing my drug calculations for the must pass with 100% test. Truly recommend for nursing students

Books came in as scheduled however sometimes they come much earlier. Condition was great. Used this book only once for the whole semester, try to buy used ones. Schools dont use them whole lot so Kind of waiste of money.

I like how much practice this book offers, however, I could not, for the life of me, figure out how they got the answers in the back of the book. I set up my calculations totally different, and found it rather frustrating when my results did not match with the back of the book answers. However, this work book offers a great opportunity for many different drug calculations that nurses will see in the clinical setting, and does a good job providing enough of the same problems to ensure the students get adequate practice, but not so many that the problems become redundant.

Great book

So disappointed. The glossary and answer sheets are torn and missing.
