I went to the local Home Center looking for a broom for the garage and patio and was sent to the garden area. Alas, not a broom in sight. Someone suggested housewares on the second floor abut I was tired so I pulled out my phone and ordered this from Amazon as I was walking to the car. The broom arrived quickly and was exactly what I wanted- a no nonsense heavy duty outdoor broom that fit my old handle with no problem.I couldn't be happier- good price, quick delivery and excellent performance- works well on the brick patio and walkway and in the garage.

In My opinion this is the best kind of pushbroom to use on a concrete floor.

What can you say about a broom head - it works like it should . I use this for rough surfaces like the concrete sidewalk. It's tough, the bristles are good, they don't come out. A well made broom head.

This replaced an older brush head that had disintegrated over time, which left small bristles every where i swept until I realized what was happening. BUY NATURAL and BIODEGRADABLE!The holes in the top of the wood lined up perfectly with the rod I had from the old broom.

This is a good brush head for a broom. I was not thrilled with it because I had no intent on using it for a broom but rather a donkey rub toy. The description says stiff bristles and I did not think they were stiff at all. If you dont care about that then this brush head will be great for you!

Boardwalk 20118 Floor Brush Head, 3 1/4" Natural Palmyra Fiber, 18" I bought this as a replacement for a piece of crap plastic broom head that just snapped while I was using it. I checked the local hardware store and all the brooms they carry have plastic heads that seemed even flimsier than the one I had, plus the handles weren't as sturdy as my old one. I bought this replacement head at one third of the price I would have paid for a cheaply-made replacement broom at the hardware store. It screwed right onto my old handle, and now I have a nice sturdy setup that I'm sure will outlast what was available locally.

I've used a few different large broom heads, and I like the kind with plastic/nylon bristles the best (they seem to be a little quieter, and they conform to surfaces better than this kind of head). However, I didn't find any I liked at a local store or on Amazon, so I bought this one.The bristles are very stiff (think halfway between grass and a piece of hay), and if you hit the head on the ground hard (like to get dirt out of the broom) or scrape it against a rough surface, expect a bristle or two to fall out. Not a big deal (not enough to take one star off my rating), just sweep it right up!The screw holes fit my wood broom stick perfectly, and the head stays put much better than plastic heads (one of the advantages of wood vs. plastic)--no having to screw the stick in a bit every 10 minutes.I think it's a great deal. Would've liked a wood head with less rigid fibers, but this works great for what I need (concrete basement floor, concrete garage floor, and patio/driveway sweeping). Highly recommended.
