HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5 stars/5 stars) This audiobook player is an absolute masterpiece & versatile literacy tool for anyone (especially children) interested in enhancing their reading & comprehension skills! I purchased this device as a gift for my young children (both aged under 2 years) after it was recommended by a teacher colleague and I’m so glad I did! My kids love listening to the music soundtracks and have adored the audiobooks we’ve listened to together. There is a screen on the device that displays the time and simple visuals that correspond with the words of the story or song being played. Highly recommend this device and the subscription package for kids as it includes a variety of family friendly audiobooks, informational textbooks, and musical playlists suitable for children. The device itself is compact and easily portable for car and/or airplane rides and the battery when fully charged lasts multiple days at a time. It’s an expensive device but it’s well worth the extra cost.

My 15 month old figured out how to put the cards in and out right away, how to push the buttons, and how to be patient and listen to stories. He is a kid that doesn’t get a lot of screen time, and loves books, but also loves the occasional Ms Rachel. Great sound quality, the app is very functional and easy to use, great durability and heavy, but easy for them to carry around if they need to. The size is perfect to be portable. A great value for money overall and good fit for all ages. I highly recommend this for anyone with kids. I can’t wait till he gets older and we can get the Harry Potter cards for him!

We are trying to reduce the amount of screentime for our toddler and this has been amazing. While we mainly have cards with songs and short stories, our 3 year old has loved using his Yoto. Even with having the standard size, it is still easy to bring with in the car or bring to his grandparents to listen to. The cards are easy to take in and out and our son loves having the freedom to choose what he wants. They make cards that can be used as little as a baby up to whatever age... we are excited to have more options available when our son gets older. A great option to spend your money on!

This is a great screen free entertainment for our kid! My son was a year and a half, and there’s a lot he’s too little for but the starter pack has songs he loves and he’ll definitely grow into it. The speaker is great and the battery lasts a long time. The free app is also easy to use and making new cards is super easy

5/5 means perfect. This is close. The reason it doesn't get that extra half a point (4.5/5) is due to the internet/wifi/bluetooth connection. That took forever and kept popping different codes, but eventually and luckily (because I was about to return it) it connected. I did nothing different during this connection attempt, but perhaps it felt as though it was it. Pros: The pixel image on the front is WAY better than what the images on the Amazon page show. I thought it was going to be a lame duck, but the color is amazing and the image itself is much better (pixelated, but still so much better). Battery life is true and accurate as of now. Cord is appropriate length. Volume is capped at a certain max level, but it fits for what this should be used for. The cards received are of good quality! Not flimsy! Easily able to be changed by a 2yr old. Story qualities are great!

We just received this the other day and my daughter loves it. Currently don't have any issues with it. It works exactly as intended and it appears to have a ton of content available. We purchased a silicone case to protect it from drops. So far I feel it is a good value for the money paid.

Bought this for our niece for Christmas. She loves it! She is around 1.5 years and loves putting in the cards and turning the volume up and down. Has lots of features and the sound quality is great! Has been durable, especially in the hands of a toddler.

Awesome product, sturdy, well designed, keeping a child entertained, easy to operate and just works. Do get the silicone sleeve through! Helps with handing and longevity of the unit.

We are absolutely loving having a Yoto in the home to help establish a routine with our kids, and have less screen time overall. Easy set-up and GREAT App experience overall. Very appreciative that we can set-up various alarms and timers, to help our kids be mindful of staying on schedule. We start each morning listening to the Yoto Daily podcast while eating breakfast, positive vibes to start the day off and great learning for all. My kids especially LOVE the tooth brushing timer, they use it both morning and at night as it is upbeat, fun and keeps them on track for how long they should brush for. Wonderful kid content available between the cards, podcasts and music. Great for learning, entertaining, practicing life skills, and best of all is you can even record your own contact for your kids to listen to.

This has been just right for our four year old. We use it some mornings for the daily 10mins podcast with Jake (free) which is lively and aimed at children. Sometimes we use it to guide drawings or dancing. However, we always use it each night to listen to stories (typically needing to buy Yoto cards separately but they’re very affordable. There are also some available for free but they are only ever available for a limited time). We also take the Yoto on long car journeys, typically surprising our little one with a new card. The screen shows one pixelated image per chapter and so it’s enough to guide a child through the story (so they can then navigate to and from their favourite chapters independently) without it feeling like they’re glued to a screen. There’s also a night light and wake up light function. Best purchase I’ve made for him.
