It's another one of those novelty bootleg consoles. I got this system 'cause I wanted to put something interesting on a TV in my studio's background. It serves that purpose quite well, and for the price, I can't complain. I wouldn't want to beat Contra or Ninja Gaiden on this thing though. The controllers, while mostly good enough, do sometimes have problems with diagonals. There ARE some cheat ROMs on here too - for instance, a Contra ROM that boots up with a cheat menu. So if you're willing to go that route, you should be able to get through the game with about the same challenge level as you'd get playing on real hardware.This system only contains and emulates NES games. Most of the product images are either generics, images of other items, or something else. This system here has only NES games, and like many of these items, games are represented multiple times and often given strange or ambiguous names. There are 620 total games. There's a good variety of classics, especially from the black-box NES era, so overall I would describe the game library as "mostly arcade-like games".The device also has NO USB connectivity or card slot of any kind. You get what's on here and that's it. Think of it like buying a giant box of NES games back in the days when you could do that for 20 bucks.Having said all that, I have already discovered quite a lot of new games through this device. I like running games like Galaga, Donkey Kong, and anything else with a self-playing demo or a bunch of different autoplaying scenes in the title sequence. It turned my old CRT TV into something that adds to the room's mood, instead of just sitting there turned off and collecting dust. It's also fun to go down memory lane with some of these old classics. I've gotten a bit addicted to Sky Kid since getting this thing :)Not a bad item - you could do way worse and spend way more money doing it! Just be aware that you cannot easily do anything to improve the console or its library. Maybe some aftermarket controllers that have the same pinout would improve the playing experience, but anything else will take some serious doing.UPDATE: I'll add some information. The controller port shape matches the old 9-pin format of consoles like Atari, Sega Genesis, etc. I was able to plug a Genesis controller in, but the pinout is wrong, so I can only trigger a few inputs. Still, reverse-engineering the controllers and modifying another controller's pinout seems like a viable way to keep this console running through the years :)

You can't really see the characters in each game. This isn't for kids 8 and younger they are way too smart.

Tv did not sense the game once connected, it kept saying to make sure it was on. Try reconnecting several times turn game and TV off and on and still nothing.

Ok it plays very well,has a number of good games but I thought it was SNES only due to the look of it. However.most of the games seem to be nes but that's ok there is still something for adults and kids! There are a few games I've never seen before ( and I've been a gamer since 1975) . The only reason for a 4 star review is they all weren't SNES.

This consoles has all the classic games you can think of. Looks like a mini version of the super nintendo. It was easy and fast to connect. Connects to tv using AV cords that come in box. Comes with two controllers that look and feel like the original controllers. One connected to the tv, all the games options pop up. Pictures looks good, though obviously not the highest quality since these are older games. It's a great way to introduces these games to kids who would otherwise never know about them.
