Effective multi use tool
So far this axe has been very easy and simple to sharpen and use effectively, despite some reviews stating exceedingly poor quality, this thing chops thick and sticky palm trunks with ease, the blade barely wears or chips so it's definitely hardened and I've used the blade and the mallet side of it to smash crab shells when trapping for crabs, I'm impressed with the quality of the product despite the price, hopefully this review will remain unchanged as I review the product further.

My axe for the pack
Picked this awesome axe up for camping..this thing isihhtweight but feels indestructible. I love how it fits right in with my backpack and first aid kit. It has a few extra features like hammer end, slots to tighten nuts and a ceviche. It was super sharp out of the box ..cannot wait to get up north and hike. Excellent quality shaft is easy to grip...I am loving it

Nice, but lighter than expected
Versatile axe with good features. Very sharp. Sturdy sheath. The handle length was just right. The grip is a little small for my big hands, and the overall weight was shockingly light. I hope it has enough, umpf, to split wood.

A little light, but great for limp wristed campers or weak people. Good looking and sharp, I still may make the cover of Hackers quarterly yet!

Broke After First Use
Hatchet was working pretty good, seemed solid for its weight, until the handle snapped completely in half. Mind you, this happened on my first use. I am not the person who leaves reviews, especially bad ones, but I thought this was ridiculous and needed to leave my feedback.

Not An Axe, But Looks Nice In An Ornamental Way
Too lite for splitting wood and too short and lite for felling trees. The name axe is a misnomer. This is a hatchet size tool. But, if you need a tool like an axe and don't want to carry a real axe on a hike, this little guy is for you. It seems well made, and it comes with a nice sheath.
