14 oz Double Wall Glass Tumbler

I read through the reviews and was anxious to purchase after reports of it breaking or the lid popping off. I used it multiple times today for hot tea and it worked perfect. The lid stayed in place, it’s easy to drink out of, and it’s not hot to touch. The glass does feel flimsy, BUT I’d just be careful. If it falls, it will break. It’s easy to clean all pieces and it’s all glass! I’m extremely happy with my purchase. Edit: If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would. I’ve been using it daily since my purchase. It’s easy to take apart and clean and I’ve had no issues with the lid - I drink hot tea with boiling water straight from the kettle and the lid stays in place. I’ve debated buying a second glass! Edit: I love this glass so much I wanted to return and voice that love again! This glass has fallen over/landed on hard surfaces a couple times with no breakage. I’m thinking the bad reviews got duds because this cup is amazing lol Edit: The lid finally broke, someone was washing dishes and dropped it in the sink. I was bummed. Unsure if I’ll buy another one.

I had no idea how much metal contigo etc cups we’re changing the taste of the coffee, especially when in the cup for several hours. This tastes amazing. It’s not a travel mug replacement but it’s GREAT at what it is. It’s not leak proof, I’d call it leak resistant maybe. I used to put contigos in my purse all the time. This absolutely can not go in your purse even really nestled and propped upright. It doesn’t keep your coffee hot for hours and hours. But it does keep it hot for about an hour and a half vs 15 mins with a regular plain old kitchen mug. I bought it for a sensitive nickel allergy on hands and lips. Even stainless steel causes a reaction (it’s 10% nickel). Sipping from open top to check temp/taste would hurt lips. Even with coatings would bother hands especially the matte/rough finish color coatings. So tried this and came to *looooove* it! I mostly use it at home as I work from home but do take it to assembly and meeting type things, and on errands and visits etc. I’ve broken two but I’m a huge klutz and I even take this thing to the mailbox with me (one of the breaks on the concrete driveway!). I do think they are expensive but for me they are beyond worth it. Oh def easy to clean as the glass doesn’t absorb anything. I mostly hand wash or just rinse most days but do put in the dishwasher when I can spare being without it for a couple hours lol! It’s fine in dishwasher but black rubber (which is super soft grippy and nice) does seem to bleach out or get a little white-ish coating on it, then again I use lots of extra detergent and run on toughest wash setting. And the white doesn’t last long. I can’t image a better coffee mug for me. I imagine I will always have one or two of these ;)

It's glass. It holds 16oz. The product page is not lying. However, even without using it, I can tell it's going to be incredibly fragile and will break upon the most subtle impact due to how incredibly thin the glass is. I like it because I can microwave water in the cup for my instant coffee. I do not like microwaving water in plastic because it tastes like the plastic... I'm going to keep it, but I'm likely not going to get another one when it eventually breaks. The "double-walled" construction does a minimal job at retaining heat; it is much better than nothing, as it lets me hold boiling hot water, but I believe that if you're looking for heat retention, get a proper insulated thermos. Edit: I increased my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars because this has been much more pleasant to use than any other reusable drink carrier I have ever had. I still think that it might be fragile, but I've let it fall over and drop a few times already, and it hasn't broken yet. I will update my review again if the silicon gasket, foot, or hand ribbon start going loose, as mentioned in a few of the reviews here already.

I loved this glass!! I had carefully read the reviews and made note of the "thin" feeling of the lid. It does feel thin but if you gently rock it on there, it's a sung fit. The spout is just the right size and feel for drinking without a straw. There is a silicone gasket that should be cleaned when washing. It's easy to slip off and then on again. You'll want to note that sometimes you have to gently wiggle it around to get the lid to sit flush on the gasket and cup. It's not heavy and that's a plus. I have a popular brand that is like carrying around a water tower. I didn't find it insulated very well but it's clear glass so I wouldn't expect things to stay cold or hot for hours. I only used it for water so can't comment on it's versatility. The silicone grip and double wall are both great features however, the glass feels delicate, for lack of a better word. If you are using craft ice, depending on the size, that may cause issues since the bottom is tapered. I use nugget ice and never had a problem. Sadly, though no fault of the product, one of my cats knocked it off the counter and it shattered into a million pieces. Double wall means double the glass shards. If you are going plastic free, and don't have rude cats, you'll love the glass. I only handwashed so can't comment on if it's dishwasher safe and since my four-legged troublemaker broke it, I can't test the theory. Since it's all glass, I would assume it's top rack safe. Despite really liking the cup, I won't be getting another. I bumped a star off because every time I put the lid on I was keenly aware of how thin it was. That's anxiety I don't need! Otherwise, it's a nice cup for going plastic free.

Coffee taste better. Doesn't keep coffee warm for very long, but it is microwavable. Worth the hassle.

Save your money or be extremely careful. The cup shattered the second time I used it. It literally just fell on its side and broke. It is a pretty cup, and I love that it is all glass, but it is VERY fragile, which sort of defeats the purpose of it being a travel mug. The glass definitely needs to be sturdier, even if that adds to the weight.

This is a beautifully blown glass travel mug, and does a good job keeping hot beverages hot. However, as others have noted, it is not leakproof. If it tips over, the beverage will pour out of holes in the top of the mug. Additionally, the lid does have a tendency to separate out of the base, especially when heated. This causes the mug to leak from the side when drinking. I added a silicone band to cover the seam between the lid and the base. This completely prevented the lid from separating from the base, and stopped the cup from leaking. I used JOVITEC 12 Pieces Rubber Bracelets, Solid Color Silicone Wristbands, Multi-Pack Blank Wristbands Bracelets for Events Rubber Bands Party (Black). A better (wider) band is Grippy-Bands Colorful Water Bottle Grip Kit (both available from Amazon). Sadly, I have stopped using the cup. It is too much of a problem and too unpredictable as to leaking. Deleted one additional star.

Love these!!! Exactly what I was looking for. Sturdy, functional, no drip, well designed. Will be buying these as gifts for the holidays.

It just looks special. I love that the top is even glass. I ordered a back up lid which i have on hand, because I may tip it one day.

It is nice and clean product for cold drink but for hot beverages nice to hold and great but will not save the heat .
