Money Well Spent
If someone had told me I could remove my dog’s tartar build-up at home, for under £40, and without the need for anaesthetic, I would not have believed them. But after using this tool, I am genuinely impressed. Noise: The tool is completely silent when switched on. When it makes contact with the tooth, there is a light sound, similar to what you hear at the dentist, but much softer and less intense. Patience is Important: If your dog is not used to having their mouth touched or their teeth brushed, this will feel unfamiliar at first. What helped me was using the tool for just a second, then giving lots of verbal praise. Gradually, I increased the time, and it became much easier. Use with Care: I was very cautious while using it. I wanted to avoid touching my dog’s gums and made sure not to apply too much pressure to protect the enamel. Final Thoughts: The tool is well made, easy to use, and very effective. Even if you do not use it frequently, it is a great item to have on hand. It has made a noticeable difference in my dog’s dental health and I would definitely recommend it to other pet owners.

Removes tartar build up gently and thoroughly and so much cheaper than the vet.
I was a little scepticle about this item but having used it I am a convert. I bought this having recently been to the vet and asked about their dental treatments. My 2 year old Poochon had just a small about of tartar build up on her teeth and I wanted them to be cleaner and not have any more build up. I was told a dental treatment would cost around £250 plus but that it was possible to buy one of these. I bought this and it does the job really well. Just working on the area little each day for a couple of days and the tartar is gone. My baby is back to beautiful white teeth for under £30. Yes you have to take it slow to allow them to get used to it but it will only work on hard surface of teeth and if it touches the gum it will stop. Gentle sonic vibrations loosen the tartar until it comes away and you will not hurt your dog in the process. No anesthesia and no worries but your dog will have to learn it is okay and may react at first.

Really Excellent Product.
I must say that this product is really well made, good quality and easy to use. I managed to get a fair bit of tartar off my dog’s teeth. I can’t say that it was easy as he didn’t like it. But it really works well, and doesn’t take that long once your dog gets used to it. I used the gentle mode and it really did a brilliant job. The product comes with lots of different cleaning head, dental equipment and two different toothbrushes. I would highly recommend this product. It would have cost me a fortune at the vets.

It works! But dogs dont like it.
I tried this on my own tooth and it doesnt hurt , just a mini vibration but has a sound when touches tooth. Tried it off first and dogs fine. But they dont like it even on the lowest setting. Although my dogs are obideient so stay still for it. I try to start low and then put up to super strong just for the last go before they run off. Managed to completly clean canines which were pretty awful . Its very difficult to get to back of front teeth just as dogs wont keep mouth open but it does completly break off the hard plaque if you get a good few goes at it . I feel if you can get control of your dog to sit for a minute now and again it will make a big difference . It doesnt work if you slip and hit gum . It only works if it touches a tooth or finger nail. Will save alot of money on vet dental and the risk of going under anathestic. However if you have a dog that wont sit long and is reactive I personally wouldnt risk it as you are very close .

Brilliant - recommend
Really good product, my dogs teeth had some plaque as she hates me cleaning her teeth, I did have to wrestle her a bit but managed to clean them. Most of the plaque come off in chunks (tip let it do it rather than move it around too much) The machine is pretty silent unless it hits plaque and makes a bit of a squeal like the dentist, the light on it is brilliant and helps you see better in the mouth. It comes with loads of accessories too which is amazing. I really recommend, its saved me loads at the vets.

Works brilliantly for aesthetics only
Actually ended up using this on my own teeth because my dog was having none of it. My dog lets me brush his teeth and look at his teeth and hums no problem but he’s terrified of this machine and I know he would absolutely freak out if I touched his tooth with it - the sensation of it vibrating is odd and it makes a quiet but noticeable noise. I ended up using the manual tools included to very gently scrape the small amount of tartar I was concerned about off his canines, and they worked very well. The thing about this product is it’s for aesthetics only, it doesn’t actually do anything for the gum disease the dog has. The scaler the vet uses goes under the gum line which this can’t and should not be used for. Using it on my own teeth, you probably shouldn’t, but I am thrilled with the results. I did notice that if you used it for more than 5 mins , black stuff would start to appear. I can only assume something was burning and that’s probably not good… so use in short bursts, don’t do all your teeth and once. And ideally just go an actual dental hygienist.

Amazing product, no vet visit needed
Shocked how good this works, went to the vets and they said to put him under anaesthesia to clean the teeth which I can't do, because he's 15y old. Ordered this and did it, was way more convenient for my dog as well. He just chilled the whole time in my lap. Highly recommend.

Very effective
This made a huge difference to my dogs teeth in the first session (about half an hour) Your dog most likely won't appreciate you doing this as it does make quite a loud ringing noise as it scrapes away the tartar. (had to pin mine down) however he never once winced in pain as it only effects hard surfaces. If you think your dog will let you use this then I'd I'd highly recommend as it has proven highly effective for me
