Update: Updating my review as the LifeBasis customer support helped resolve the issue I had. I didn't even contact them, but they reached out to make things right. I am blown away by their customer service and highly recommend them and their products.I received a replacement air quality meter and it is working perfectly. The readings are accurate and are in the same ballpark as a few other tried and tested air quality meter I have (Ikea, Amazon, etc.). I love how compact and portable this air quality meter is. I bought this for an upcoming international trip as I am worried about the air quality in some of the places we will be visiting. This meter is really easy to hold and store, and it will be great to have it on our trip. Another reason for this purchase is that I recently learned the importance of Carbon Dioxide when it comes to sleep quality. I measured the CO2 levels in our room and decided to leave one window open at night to lower the CO2 levels. This air quality meter is a must have quality of life tool that I intend to take everywhere.----Previous review:Ordered a brand new Lifebasis air qualify monitor (black), but received a used unit with fingerprints all over it. The meter also does not seem to be accurate when it comes to a few readings. Humidity is way off, and PM2.5 is double of what is being reported by Ikea's air qualify monitor. I might have received a used/defective unit, so will try ordering a replacement.

I started noticing odd smells in my house and coming from my basement and we couldn't figure out whats causing it do i purchased this to ensure its nothing that can harm us and it detects stuff extremely well, i tested it bay sitting it next to my laundry that just came out the wash, somehow washed clothes can make the numbers change from what i learned online so this works extremely well, unfortunately the smell had me extremely worried and was causing me to have bad anxiety and now i feel much better as this verified its nothing dangerous which im very great full for, it alao has a stand sp it can stand up and be seen without issues, also i absolutely love i can take it anywhere in my house to check all over my home.

This air quality monitor seems pretty accurate and picks up changes in air quality quickly. I moved it from inside to outside to check the difference and the numbers immediately rose. I'm not sure how long the battery lasts, but it comes with a charger. It doesn't seem like a unit that you leave running full-time, but rather one that you turn on whenever you want to check the air. It also has an auto-time off system to shut down after a pre-set amount of time. The kick stand is handy for leaving it set up somewhere, but folds in for handheld use. It has an audible alarm that will sound if the air quality gets too bad (though I haven't been able to test this yet), but you can also turn the volume off

So this thing shows high levels of carbon dioxide when two other devices I have show none …..I don’t trust it. Being returned ohh and it doesn’t stay charged for more then 24 hours

Set this up in our nursery and it’s now our go-to tool—alerts us with sounds and flashing lights if anything's off. It caught high CO2 levels one night when windows were shut tight. Super clear screen and the battery lasts all day. Only wish it came pre-calibrated, but once set, runs nicely

The media could not be loaded. For me, the TVOC displays the modulo of actual over 0.8 mg/m3, which wraps back to zero, indicating a false safe. HCHO also has some warp backs, which is annoying.

Helps a lot. Tested this device while cooking shows a lot of issues with air quality, and luck of went flow.Also useful in garage.

Works well, have the geiger counter from the same brand too. I bought this to monitor the air quality in my room when I’m 3d printing different materials. When printing it definitely raises the particle count in the air more than I thought it would. I’m glad I bought it so I can properly ventilate when needed. Also fun to see air quality in different locations.
