Sadly the days when manufacturers made things to satisfy consumers demands have long since passed. For those of us with a large collection of Blu-ray / DVD the choice of machine is now greatly restricted. I recently bought this cheap machine when my Samsung died. Its a very good play at any price. No configuration necessary and I would recommend it

This player is real value for money, the best thing about is the fact it is easy to install and comes with the required leads. The only let down is the remote not coming with batteries. I am considering ordering a second one as aback up, it even comes with a 18 month warranty.... fantastic. I would recommend you consider this machine over other brands, I don't think you will be disappointed. Last thing to add the colour is crystal clear.

I mistakenly bought this thinking it was a Blu-Ray multiregion player. It is not, it is only DVD multiregion. despite the supposed hacks you might find on the Internet. The remote control layout is very poor with the buttons you’d likely use the most (play, pause, fast forward/backward) in tiny buttons at the bottom of the control which makes actuating them, a fiddle. My player is about 3 metres ( ~10 feet) in front of me and yet the I have to point the remote control directly downward at the player and there’s still only a 4 in 10 chance of it having the desired effect; it’s very hit and miss and the remote’s infrared LED is clearly underpowered. Frustrating. I have thus ordered a true multiregion blu-ray and DVD from a completely different company.

This player couldn't be easier to set up and use. It comes with everything you could need. It even has a very good instruction manual, unusual these days. As for longevity only time will tell. We use a player every day as we prefer to watch our own sizable collection of dvds rather than the rubbish on TV. The only reason I didn't give it a score of five is I don't like the remote. It's buttons are very small also the icons are not on the lower buttons but below them and I keep pushing the icons instead of the buttons. Apart from that a good buy.
