Dont waste your money and read the details.
Simply waste of money. Did not work with my Miroir projector. The only way it started to link the phone is only and only after you plug the charger of the phone in. With this option the adapterwasheating so much that one would think it will mell soon or damage either the phone or the projector do to potential burning. Yet even that option did not last as about in two weeks when I updated my phone it did not connect the phone to the projector at all. I tried on another not updated phone and it worked. Triedagain on the updated ond did not work.My suggestion is to stay away from this so called “affordable” option as you will enupwadting your money. If you decide to buy another one like this basically you will spend as much as you would with genuin apple product which will work with their products. This is my suggestion as I got into the trap of buying this item based on other good reviews.I believe that leaving valuable and true reviews we together can clean the market from low quality products like this one.I honestly regretted for buying this product and it was slready late from the return time window.

DIFFICULT, but worked eventually (see below)
Will try to help out since I spent a lot of time trying to figure the out.First, you must plug in the charger and the HDMI to start. HDMI goes to TV, lightning port goes to wall outlet.Next, I had to download the app that came from scanning the QR code that popped up. Once you DL the app, it will ask which version. Based on the piece of paper that came in the box, mine was the Series I H9. At this point, I plugged it all in.It proceeded to update then went back to the QR screen.I then unplugged everything, plugged it back in, and it started working.Yes, a bit shady, yes very difficult, but I eventually got a video stream off safari that worked and played audio. Garbage!
Everyone else’s review on this product seems to be about record players. I bought this because I wanted something to connect my television to my iPad and stream on the tv. Guess I should’ve just bought the $50 one from Apple, because this one doesn’t work at all. No indication that it’s charging, wont connect to the tv, nothing. Just garbage!

For The Price
So far since I’ve gotten this product it’s been reliable but for some unknown reason. that could involve problems from my own iOS devices. The product has trouble reading the power cord but other than that for the price it’s Excellent. I would recommend it if your trying to get something affordable and quick to fix your iOS to HDMI problem.

It didn’t work and put a virus on my phone I asked for a refund and they are giving me store credit card witch I don’t even have they not gonna refund it to my card how will I get my money back

Just remember.....amazon prime, netflix....hbo now... nfl..etc etc are all encrypted so you can mirror the internet to tv, or youtube, but the movie services all are encrypted to protect against mirroring to a tv....anyway....it works great and the price is u beatabl
