Great product and paired well with my Nvida board while others didn’t.

I picked up this Cable Matters DisplayPort cable to support a demanding setup, and after a couple of days of use, it has been performing exactly the way a properly certified cable should. I’m running it at 8K 120Hz between my monitor and GPU. The 120Hz limit is because my current hardware still uses DisplayPort 1.4, but I chose a DP 2.1 cable to future‑proof the system so I don’t have to upgrade again when I eventually move to hardware that can push even higher bandwidth. The VESA certification was a major factor in choosing this model. It removes the guesswork and ensures the cable actually meets the spec it claims. In practice, that shows — the signal has been clean, stable, and free of flicker or handshake issues. High‑resolution, high‑refresh setups can expose weaknesses quickly, and this cable hasn’t shown any so far. Build quality is solid. The connectors feel secure, and the cable has a sturdy but manageable thickness. It’s slightly bulkier than cheaper options, but that extra shielding is part of what keeps the signal stable at these data rates. Routing it behind a desk wasn’t difficult, and it holds its shape without feeling rigid. Since I’ve only had it for a short time, I still need more usage hours to confirm long‑term reliability, but early performance has been excellent. I had a 4yr old DP Cable I was running with a 4090 and a 2k 240hz Monitor. Upgraded recently to a 4k 240hz QD-LED Monitor and started getting black screens, stutters, delayed loading, and a few other random issues. Read up online that if you are running a 4090, Maxed Out, on a high end Monitor, you’ll want to get a V 2.1+ Certified cord. The one I had was an older V 1.2. Plugged this cord in, which I should say feels and looks Incredibly sturdy and has awesome connectors with a solid construction that fit perfectly. Turned on my computer, No More Black Screen from the moment I fired my rig up. Zero stutters, No more delays, running at the full 4k 240hz @10-bits. Not bad at all for under $20. Great product, solid construction, Cheap upgrade for future proofing, and fixed a lot of headaches for cheap.

Works great. Cable is thicker than average so keep that in mind for cable routing. Also a little "tough" on flexibility. I got this because I wanted a cable that supported high refresh/resolution but also had enough length to fit in a monitor arm that "hides" the cable. My previous cable worked fine, but in the monitor arm it's length was too short to reach the GPU. Great cable from a certified brand.

Uses a (in my opinion) useless sticker around the plug housing and latch release button that leaves adhesive residue. Kind of annoying, but outside of that gets the job done.

Got a new oled ultrawide and needed the new spec cable for HDR10. Hard to go wrong with cables from cable matters. Nice heavy duty cable that I’m sure will do its job for years to come.

Cavo di ottima fattura e di buon spessore. L'ho acquistato per pilotare un monitor 5K2K a 120 Hz e sostituire il cavo originale fornito con il monitor, che mi causava frequenti sfarfallii e, in alcuni casi, addirittura il crash del SO. Faccio una precisazione che potrebbe essere utile a chi sta valutando l'acquisto: essendo lungo 3 metri, questo cavo non raggiunge la banda massima tipica della DisplayPort 2.1 (80 Gbps), ma si ferma a 54 Gbps. Nel mio caso è più che sufficiente, ma per alcuni potrebbe essere un limite da tenere in considerazione; al momento però, per quanto mi risulta, non esistono cavi certificati VESA oltre i 2 metri che mantengano la banda piena. Per ora consiglio l'acquisto ma mi riservo la possibilità di aggiornare la recensione qualora dovessero emergere problemi col tempo.

The cable has great spec also being certified. Using this cable I was able to cleanup minor, but noticable, interference being picked up from my existing (older spec'd) DisplayPort cable. Highly reccommended, especially where longer than 2M is required.

These are no exception. Well built, high quality materials. Hits 165hz at 4k perfectly. No noise at all. The locking push button feature is great if your monitors are on arms and you move them about. These cables won’t come out by accident! Definitely buy these!

Zuvor hatte ich ein DP1.4 Kabel von KabelDirekt. Komischerweise hatte ich mit diesem Kabel dann Probleme, dass mein Monitor nicht mehr aus dem deaktivierten zustande aufgewacht ist. Mit diesem Kabel tritt das Problem nicht auf! Zwar kann ich mit meiner RTX 4000er Karte und dem LG GX9 kein DP 2.1 nutzen, trotzdem scheint das Kabel besser als viele andere DP Kabel zu funktionieren! GPU Z meldet die volle DP1.4 Bandbreite inkl. DSC. Ich kann das Kabel stand jetzt ohne Bedenken empfehlen!
