Great product from a great supplier!
Our deck is several years old and was deteriorating in places. Some repairs and fixes made good, but it was still looking very worse the wear. The Ronseal Rescue Paint has been a godsend. Even after a thorough jet wash to remove the worst of the discoloration and blemishes it still had marks and was in need of a lot of TLC. The paint covered small cracks and splits, while giving a uniform coverage and was really easy to put on. Our deck looks like new and is ready for the winter now. Theres been some reviews about chipping and splitting of the paint after a year or two, but it plainly says on the tin that further applications may be required in subsequent years. What else would you expect from a walked-upon painted surface? We're very pleased with the product and the supplier. Great communication regarding delivery and 30% less than from your go-to national chain DIY store. At that price, it's a steal!

Wow, I was super impressed- just buy double what it says on the tin!
This product is truly brilliant. I was rather sceptical at first because I couldn't find any comparative products that do the same job so thought it was too good to be true, but it really is a good product. We had some serious splinters and chips out of our deck and I was desperate for it to be revived as I didn't fancy the £700-£1000 for a new deck for the next few years. I was suitably impressed. The first layer took the most paint, and there is no way you get 10m2 (with two coats they say)from one 2.5l pot, ours did about one coat of 8m2. All in all for a 16m2 deck we used 3x 2.5l pots. The second coat goes much further and fills the rest of the gaps that were sealed first time round and you can actively see the deck coming to life. I was trying to decide between Charcoal and English oak, and not sure we went for the right one (charcoal) as it's rather grey more than charcoal, it would have been nicer as a true charcoal, and for that reason I think the English oak may be a better option. All in all if you think you HAVE to replace the deck and really can't afford to, spend a fraction of the price to bring a new lease to it. Photo shows before shot and after 1 coat ... will try add one after two coats soon.

Will tidy up tired decking
This is decent deck paint but beware once you paint your decking you will have to paint every year. It looks great for about 6 months and will cover even up a multitude of sins even on the worst worn out decking but unfortunately you will have to repeat again next year !

Will make a disaster of your decking..AVOID!
I used this product last summer. My decking was transformed from an ageing decking and looked fantastic. A year later, the paint is peeling and the decking turned into a disaster. I have spent the entire day power washing to remove the flaking paint and I have several hours ahead of me, rubbing down with a wire brush and wiping with white spirit. The decision has still to be taken regarding the next product to apply. Ronseal reckon the batch of paint must have been faulty and have given me vouchers for their “ superior product, ultimate protection decking paint”. I am reluctant to go down that route again as I came so close this time to renewing the entire decking. It’s very hard to believe that I and hundreds of other disappointed users of rescue paint, all got paint from a faulty batch. I recommend staying well away from this product, it doesn’t do what it says on the tin.

Very pleased, definitely recommended, passed wife appreciation factor (WAF) test.
Equally impressed as other reviewers. We had the typical, should-have-looked-after-it-but-didn't, grey decking. In decent condition but just colourless, grey, dull. After a brush and a jetwash, followed by drying the day before, I put this stuff on. I've only done a single coat but the results are night and day compared to what it was. Last time I did this a few years ago i put stain on which simply didn't do very much at all, nor did it look particularly different or great. The consistency of colour is miles better on this for a much better overall effect. As other have said, it's easy to consume a 2.5L can. We have 20m+ sq of decking with a small section of handrail and it took approx tin and a half of this to cover it, so it's coverage estimates are accurate on the tin (it says about 16m sq IIRC). I only ordered 2 tins so i'll need to wander down to DIY shed to get a third to finish it off. Annoying as it is 10 quid cheaper a tin online, but i need it fast to get it done. Easy to clean up afterwards (soap and water). Paint is reasonably viscous, not too drippy. my best tip: go down to your local diy shed and pickup a decking brush with pole (looks a bit like a sweeping brush) for about 8 quid. Saves your back, economical spreading, fast application relatively speaking. Overall: very pleased with results, would definitely recommend. Prompt delivery from marketplace seller, thanks. Wife wasn't so sure about paint, wanted stain, I overruled, but on seeing it she was pretty pleased.

Don't bother
We have a large decking area and Bought this as it states decking rescue paint ....sorry but it does not work First the colour , that is spot on, really the best thing about it is the colour The paint has been down three weeks at most . It was done by husband on hands and knees to ensure every part of decking was covered. Every grove . At first it looked amazing I was so happy It was fully dry prior to any rain Three weeks later and a lot of time and money it is terrible . Two coats were applied yet even the kids walking normal on it has left marks . The whole decking looks terrible , marks everywhere , the paint seems.to be flaking off I am totally devastated . I saved for three tins of this and it was a waste of my money

Easy application and good result
Used on decking as the previous stain kept peeling off as not all our decking is in the sun.. this is the best cover we have used yet.. easy to put on and has kept the colour well.. slight flaking off in the middle, but that is where the water tends to gather and has the most wear and tear .. will keep using this regularly now as good product
