Logitech Slim Folio Keyboard Case for iPad (10th gen & A16) with Integrated Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard

It is very hard to find a decent, inexpensive, keyboard case these days. In the past my go to brand was INCASE but over the years they ceased making iPhone and iPad cases. ZAGG was my next go-to maker of keyboard cases but from reading reviews it seems their quality has slipped over the years. I recently tried an Otterbox for my new A16 iPad but while it did offer great coverage it was just too bulky for my needs and it had no keyboard case option. Then I found Logitech! I looked through their many different offering of keyboard cases and found one that suited my needs perfectly: Logitech Slim Folio Case. I didn't need a keyboard case with a build in trackpad as I have a Logitech Pebble Mouse 2 M350s which pairs well with this keyboard case. The keyboard case offer full protection on all edges while still offering access to the USB-C port as well as volume and Touch ID button. The iPad connects to the keyboard via the magnetic contacts and holds good. It is a little floppy but not so bad you notice. The case runs off of two CR2032 batteries; so it requires no separate charging. While that might seem like an inconvenience for some I think it's a better option than worrying about charging both my iPad and keyboard case. The keys feel great when typing and the build quality is what you would come to expect from Logitech. Simple and direct and reliable. I love the design and feel it will hold up for the life of my iPad as long as I take good care of it. Nothing is obscured or blocked and the sound quality while is not compromised. The keys are not backlit unfortunately but I do not see that as a problem except if I'm writing in the dark and need to find a function key. However, my last iPad keyboard case wasn't backlit and it managed me fine for over five years. I do recommend this case if you are looking for a quality build keyboard case that costs much less than an Apple brand. I feel this is going keep me happy for a long time and serve me well when I travel.

This is an excellent keyboard and case for the iPad A16 (aka 11th gen). It fits the iPad perfectly, and the keyboard action is very good -- crisp and not mushy. The keyboard layout is well designed, and the keyboard settings key (bottom left with a globe icon) is a nice touch, making it easy to switch the keyboard mapping for typing in different languages. I've only had it 8 months and battery usage seems normal. Since 2012 I've owned 3 iPads, and each time got a Logitech keyboard case and each time they've been great. My wife has tended to keyboards made by the iPad manufacturer (not naming names) and hasn't had as good an experience.

***Update I’ve been using this for almost two years. It is still the best function for my needs. (Key feature - I can hold this on my lap and lift one handed without the keyboard moving.) The battery needs to be replaced about every 6mo. The issues I was having before I believe were due to low battery, as replacing them resolved the issue. I use for maybe 15 hours per week, max. One full office day and some other use here and there. I wish this featured a rechargeable battery, but oh well. I would purchase again. This is the best iPad keyboard for my needs out of six or seven different ones I tested. I love the way it functions. However, after about six months of less than daily use, it has random problems with connectivity. It will begin to work, then I’ll realize nothing I typed in the last 30 seconds showed up. If I wait a few seconds, sometimes it will pick up some of the text, but it is usually inaccurate and acts as if one key were stuck. My iPad is up to date and the battery light on the keyboard shows green. This interferes with my ability to accurately and efficiently work (I use this primarily for medical charting on an iPad based EMR) and I am disappointed that I spent so much on it to have it malfunction so frequently with such little use.

This is my 2nd Logitech Slim Folio: I first purchased one for my 6th Gen iPad several years ago and it’s still working flawlessly. Just upgraded to a 10th Gen A16 iPad and immediately searched for the matching Slim Folio. I prefer the larger keyboard instead of having a dedicated trackball area (if you want, you can connect a mouse via Bluetooth to enablr this function). Keyboard is instantly responsive and I like that it has the top row of various Apple function keys. Only negative is that the keyboard isn’t backlit, but this isn’t a dealbreaker for me. The case provides excellent protection for the iPad without being overly heavy to carry. I use the Apple Pencil holder for a stylus, which is something my previous Slim Folio didn’t have. I prefer that the case doesn’t require daily charging, and it uses 2 CR2032 coin batteries, which are easily replaced. Logitech makes a quality case at a much more reasonable price! Highly recommended.

I bought it as a recommendation from Apple. From the box it was defective. There is no way to charge it. It runs on 2 cr2032 batteries. $20 of batteries later, still doesn’t turn on. I would not recommend buying this product. Not unless you just want to order it and turn around and return it. And Amazon is saying to me I have an estimated refund because I want to return it and they came up with a new way to **** people. Don’t buy this product I was really looking forward to it. And it really brought me down.

I just bought this today to replace my Apple folio for Apple 10th generation iPad that wouldn’t stay together, the magnets were to weak and the screen kept falling off. So far i like the feel of it but i cant figure out how to make the back light on the keys come on which i was very excited too have. Also pushing the return button doesn’t seem to work, i expect it to pull me down to start a new sentence and it doesn’t do that, it just sends the message or does nothing. It does feel very sturdy and the keys work great and have a good feel. I will return it if i can’t get the back light to work or the return button to work. I will up date this in a couple of weeks.

Very disappointed with this product. Most of the keys on the keyboard do not match their function. It's an enraging experience to use it…

I have been a Logitech user for ever, since the late 1980's. I don't recall ever having trouble with any of their products (well maybe the CyberMan but I know I was not alone). Got the Slim Folio for my iPad 10th gen and it certainly honours the quality tradition I have come to expect from this company. It's quite sturdy and the keyboard... Oh the keyboard. I used the Apple Keyboard Folio on another iPad a few years ago. While the Apple product was a membrane keyboard, the Slim Folio is actually a real keyboard which is super comfortable to use. Things to keep in mind if you are planning to purchase this product : - It does add a bit of bulk. It's actually thrice as thick as the iPad itself so if you don't like bulky case this one is not for you. However it does product the table from all sides so there's that. - The keyboard is NOT backlighted. - There is no trackpad. I resolved this by pairing a mouse. But you can absolutely use it with no mouse of course. - The keyboard is Bluetooth and it's not rechargeable. It uses two CR2032 coin batteries. Logitech claims they will provide three years worth of power. All in all an excellent product which I will be using for years to come. EDIT : I actually returned the Slim Folio and got the Combo Touch. The fact that the Slim Folio’s keyboard was not backlighted was kind of a hindrance to me. Plus I found it unconfortable to hold the iPad with the keyboard folded back. The Combo Touch solved both of these problems and also I find the iPad very confortable to hold without the detachable keyboard. The case does not add that much bulk. Much happier with the Combo Touch.

El teclado muy práctico sirvió como reemplazo a mi laptop y se puede trabajar muy bien con el iPad para cosas sencillas tareas o tomar notas etc

Muito bom, fácil conexão (inserir a senha solicitada e apertar enter). Lindo e confortável. Parece ser duradouro. Bem embalado. Teclado já configurado. Só usar! Amei a compra. Suporte seguro pra caneta. Não precisa carregar, só acabar a bateria (aquelas redondinhas) é só trocar (são duas). Amei. Tava usando um muito ruinzinho e fraco. Não permite rotacionar a tela.

Sin ningún problema para enlazarlo, llegó muy bien empaquetado en tiempo. Al momento de ponerlo en la funda me encantó porque el color súper, el material de gran calidad. Al usarlo las teclas son muy cómodas. Tiene un tema con el alfabeto latino, es decir, no trae Ñ, físicamente, pero si la tiene contemplada al momento de pulsar la tecla :;, es decir, viene en el sitio donde debería ir, lo que quiere decir que las teclas no funciona como están dispuestas físicamente sino como en las teclas del teclado en español, si las tienes memorizadas no tendrás ningún problema en adaptarte. La portabilidad y la adaptación de teclado es genial, porque prácticamente hace funcionar tu iPad como tu laptop.
