The TikTok dermatologists are correct, this is the best face cream for sensitive skin. I have been using tretinoin cream for over two years now, and I still overdo it sometimes and mess up my skin barrier. I do what I can to fix it, but even the repairs hurt to use, and make my skin look even worse. After one of my worst reactions, I did some research and found that the zinc and other ingredients in baby diaper cream would calm down my face the same way it does for a diaper rash. When my son was a baby, I used this brand a few times, which was effective on his sensitive skin, but I did not like the smell, and opted for a prescription cream that cost way more and made the same difference. Over a decade later, I was desperate enough to try this again. I am so glad I did, because it smells way more tolerable now!!! Good to know when I have more kids, because the prescription cost more than double for the same results. I wear this nightly, and even though one of my worst spots is the skin directly under and around my nose, it does not smell strong at all. I just wanted to share that for anyone who had the same aversions I did, and has not been around this brand in the last decade to know that this cream has lightened up to a more pleasant scent.

I have an 8-month-old baby, and we’ve been using Desitin maximum strength since he was about 2 months old. Before this, I had been using other diaper creams that contained around 15% zinc oxide. My original plan was to use the lighter creams daily and save Desitin (with 40% zinc oxide) for when my baby actually developed a rash.However, when my son had a mild to moderate diaper rash at around 2 months, I used Desitin — and I could see a huge difference within the same day! The rash was completely cleared within 1–2 days. After that, I tried going back to the lighter creams for daily use, but unfortunately, the rash came back within a week. This actually happened twice.I asked our pediatrician if it was safe to use the 40% zinc oxide Desitin for every diaper change, and he said yes. Since then, I’ve been applying it at every diaper change and my son hasn’t had any diaper rash at all! I’m so glad I trusted my instincts and stuck with it — this cream has been a game-changer for us.

This is my favorite diaper cream. I don’t use this one daily (for that I use the blue one) but this one I use anytime the rash becomes red, aggressive, and usually I can see a difference the next day. So this one is definitely my go to.

Only brand I use now. Has cleared and prevented several diaper rashes. It doesn’t get super runny in the heat which is a huge thing for me as I keep in in my car. Also easy to wash off my hand

Super helpful when things can get rough with baby. Can take a few uses sometimes to get the job done. But it’s nice and thick, and soothing to get relief for baby.
