I am beyond happy with this purchase. I bought this specifically to replace an older adapter that consistently refused to read a PS3 drive, and this Suidek model worked perfectly right out of the box. What I love about it: Versatility: It is surprisingly hard to find a high-quality adapter at this price point that handles both SATA and IDE drives so seamlessly. Build Quality: The device feels superb and well-built. It arrived well-packaged and was incredibly easy to set up. Offline Clone Feature: Unlike my previous reader, this one has a standalone drive copy function that doesn't even require a PC. While I haven't had the chance to test the cloning speed yet, it’s a brilliant "pro" feature to have at this price. Final Verdict: I have yet to find a single negative. If you’re looking for a reliable way to recover data or bridge old drives to a modern USB-C connection, I fully recommend this. It’s a solid addition to any tech toolkit!

It is small, but don't be fooled. It does its job! Pure and simple!!

Have used the once to attach an old IDE HDD and it worked brilliantly. I had an initial problem with a connection but discovered it was the IDE power socket that is very tight and hadn't made a proper connection. I had tried a different make which went caput within a minute so am much happier with this one.

Handy bit off kit, was able to access an old laptop hard drive and an old desktop hard drive.

Wasn’t sure how well this would work but it was able to read and write my old hard drive laptop so I could get all the data off of it and any hard drives that had floating around.

The one I received had important parts missing so it was returned. I can’t give any reviews

Ho acquistato questo adattatore SUIDEK per recuperare dati da diversi vecchi hard disk che avevo accumulato nel tempo e devo dire che il prodotto ha superato le aspettative. Punti di forza: Compatibilità Totale: L'ho testato con diverse tipologie di unità (sia SATA che i più datati IDE) e non ha sbagliato un colpo. È davvero un dispositivo "universale" per chi ha a che fare con hardware di diverse generazioni. Gestione dell'Alimentazione: Uno dei vantaggi principali è la stabilità. Funziona perfettamente sia con i dischi da 2.5" (che solitamente non richiedono alimentazione extra), sia con i dischi più grandi da 3.5" che necessitano dell'alimentatore esterno incluso nella confezione. Plug & Play: La connessione USB-C è immediata e viene riconosciuta subito dal sistema operativo senza dover installare driver complicati. La velocità di trasferimento è solida e costante. Qualità Costruttiva: I connettori sembrano robusti e gli attacchi IDE (spesso delicati in questi prodotti economici) sono precisi e non forzano i pin del disco. Conclusione: Se cercate un modo semplice e affidabile per collegare esternamente qualsiasi tipo di hard disk, questo adattatore è una garanzia. Consigliatissimo sia per il recupero dati che per riutilizzare vecchi dischi come unità di backup.

I could access all my old drives from old towers that I could discard after removing the hard drives. It has connectivity to all the drives I had and worked flawlessly. Price us very adequate.
