INCREDIBLY WELL MADE AND BRIGHT-5 STARS
I am over the moon with this little EDC! Talk about a great find! INCREDIBLY WELL MADE! SUPER STURDY! You can feel the quality before you ever turn it on. Once you turn it on & throw that high beam on whatever target you want to illuminate, you’ll be impressed & glad you bought one too! The controls are intuitive and natural once you quickly adjust to remember which clicks are for which mode - the dimmer thumb wheel is a nice touch and complimented well by the double click full power shortcut/previous output toggle. LOVE the quick access tactical thumb switch. Nothing and I mean NOTHING about this feels cheap or anything other than top notch high quality engineering. Major top shelf engineering in a sleek compact package. The anodizing/powder coat is stout, haven’t scuffed or scratched it yet. It’s also B impressively resistant to staining, I got the white anniversary version just because, I’ve never seen an arctic white tactical light & I though it would help me from losing it among all my black & OD color scheme tac gear. I haven’t tested the water proof yet, eventually we’ll be in the rain together, but having just checked out the rest of the light and the tight seals under the locking flip top battery door, I don’t expect to be disappointed. The RGB colors are INCREDIBLY VIBRANT! SOS strobes, emergency and police modes are useful. The best thing is the low power consumption & usefulness as a headlamp. I clip this thing on my hat bill & keep on working into the night. The magnet on the tail is nice- but the same thing that makes the light a solid item makes it juuuuuust a little too heavy to stick it to anything and walk away- then again, I only tested it on my fridge, it slid just a bit under its own weight, I feel like the magnet might need to be a tiny bit stronger. Not sure what kind they use- neodymium iron boride w/nickel plating would be my top choice, but that’s a minuscule suggestion in an otherwise EXTREMELY STOUT ITEM! I will buy another one for my wife, and kids after I pickup a couple of their other smaller items- instant brand loyalty with this one. Wuben has a lifelong customer. I literally use this every day. It’s small enough to accompany my Milwaukee fastback knife on my belt that I have on every single day. And some Saturdays just wearing under armour shorts around the house- any one who’s ever clipped anything on a pair of shorts like that, knows even a heavy cell phone will pull them down or make them uncomfortable- not with this bad boy. It’s not as bright as my Wurkkos TD11- but it’s impressively close and actually feels more sturdy more compact and more comfortable for EDC usage- plus the battery lasts forever. I do wish it had a digital readout. That’s my only wish for their next model.

Brilliant! In more ways than one!
Flashlights have been evolving fast since white LED technology came along, quite some time ago. This means an incredible variety of styles and features has been producing clever new models for decades now. For a supposedly new design to stand out -- well, that's become a tall order. Wuben has designed some interesting models, most of which have at least one innovative feature that helps differentiate them in a field crowded with competition. But the X4 is a stand-out among standouts. The feature set, the user interface, the build quality, and the performance are all way above average, and taken together they make the X4 closer to perfection than anything else on the market. The features are well presented all over Amazon and YouTube, but with all the fawning, self-promoting quickie would-be influencers calling every model from every brand the latest and greatest, it's hard to tell one pocket-sized model from another -- at least not where it counts. To me, what counts, like I said, are the features, ease of use, build, and performance. So let's just get this one thing straight -- the X4 is the best I've seen in all 4 categories. At 1500 lumens it's far brighter than most, and doesn't exceed all practicality by being so bright it burns your hand and kills the huge 18650 battery in a minute or two. I don't need 4000 lumens in an EDC light. But I do need soft general illumination, provided by the side array of white LEDs behind a white diffuser, and I do (rarely) need a flashing red/blue alert light that I can stick magnetically on the side of my car when something goes wrong at night. The X4 features are all practical capabilities that I'll actually use, and the way you get to them is a brilliant application of one slider and one wheel/button. Even the latch on the battery cover is clever and foolproof. This light is as good as it gets in the pocket-sized multi-function EDC category. Read no further. Buy one. I bought three more for some friends. This one is for the record books.

Uses replaceable rechargable battery
This flashlight is a super great value. Not only is it insanely bright, but it uses a replaceable Li-Ion battery, meaning you can keep using it even after the original battery dies of old age! I'm hoping the LEDs last that long as well, but I won't know the answer to that for years. This flashlight has several modes, can emit light in different ways and in different colors. It has a rear switch to make it more versatile, as well as a magnet in the base to hold it onto steel objects. The only thing about this product that I did not understand was why it inexplicably came with a lanyard when THERE IS NO MOUNT POINT FOR A LANYARD. I looked all over the place for a place to attach it, and was very confused what they expect me to do with it. Like, I appreciate the fact that they still gave me one, but literally the only place I could attach a lanyard to this flashlight was by tying it around the belt clip, which feels kinda janky to me since it can slide back and forth along the clip. Aside from that tiny nitpick, this is a really great quality product though. I look forward to using it for years to come! EPILEPSY WARNING: This flashlight does have a strobe mode, so please read instructions carefully before using.

Becoming Wuban fan
A while back I bought a Wuben flashlight, and thought the quality for the price was so good I wound up buying 2 others, one of which was this one. Not a 'tactical' flashlight, but a 'practical' one. I say this because to me a tactical light should come on instantly when you touch the button. This one requires you to move a switch, then turn it on. It has more features than I can figure out without the instructions but fortunately it is very simple to use as a flashlight. There is a switch on the side that slides up and down to 4 positions, each of which is easy to find due to a nice 'click' and detent that holds it in place with just the right amount of tension - easy enough to move but doesn't change settings by itself very easily. Anyway, it has an 'off' setting, which should explain itself. Click it up one notch, and you are on the 'sidelight' setting. Now press the button, and the wide angle light on the side comes on. Now turn a little wheel right below the power button (think volume control on a compact ratio) and the light gets brighter or dimmer. Press the button again to turn it off. Moving the selector switch up one more notch (2 clicks up from off) and you are on flashlight mode. Again, press the on/off button to turn the light on or off, turn the little dial to make it brighter or dimmer. Press button again to turn off. To charge, move the selector switch all the way up to the top, and it exposes the charge port where you plug in the included charge cord into a standard USB port. Couldn't be simpler or more straighforward to use, and everything can be done by 'feel' in the dark, without looking at the light. Now the reason I say it is not 'tactical' is because it requires 2 steps to turn on, moving the switch, then pressing the button. Great for practicality, as it will not turn on in your pocket or pack and drain the battery, but it does take another second or two to turn on because of this. Battery life is good, brightness is good with a wide range of adjustment from nighlight to being able to see clearly for well over 50 feet. I also like that it is rectangular shaped because it will not roll anywhere if you set it down. Probably about as big of a light as I would EDC in my pocket, but that's OK, I have other lights for that (like the awesome little Wuben light about the size of a Zippo lighter). The fact that it is a little bigger makes it easier to carry and use, plus leaves room for a bigger battery. Not sure how long it lasts, never ran it down yet, so all I can say is it shines for quite a while. Overall quality is very good, the main body is all metal, and is extremely stout. As a bonus, the battery is user replaceable. If it goes bad, you can just get a new one, or if you use a light a LOT, you can swap in a fresh batter in maybe 10 or 20 seconds. The battery cover is secure, yet relatively easy to open. Overall, I was very impressed of just how well it is built for the price.

One of the best small flashlights I own
This thing puts out the light as well as my $200 Streamlight and had extra functions. Small and compact. I love that it charges via USB-C and that it has flashing colored LEDs similar to the Guardian Angel brand light. Not as bright , but a less expensive alternative. Nice bright adjustable white light and a small work light on the side.

Great light
Lots of design features with different lighting. Perfect to take my dogs out, or really for any use. Very bright, much brighter than my phone. Great size and have not had to recharge yet. Great battery life and great value for money.

Funtastic tool.
Really impressive bit of kit. Tiny, easily fits in hand, concealable and VERY bright in spotlight mode. Good Moonglow setting, easily enough to walk around in City or Bush. The fact that 18650 battery can be charged in situ OR removed and a fresh one slid in is a definite plus, (hate batteries that are built in & unable to be swapped out) The 18650 batteries are much more powerful than 2x AA's. Very technically designed. Incredible how many features can be built into such a small solid (alloy frame) package. Purchased in White for visibility. Lanyard easily attaches to the belt clip. Fidget friendly ! Certainly going to watch this Companies offerings and already have Wuben G5 in cart.

Bright and Sturdy Flashlight with Fun Features
This flashlight was the perfect gift for my dad. It can do so may thing dispute having such a small package. The only thing is that it is a little weird to get used to operating the various modes and lights it has. I am also a little bummed that the main light is just one light (There is a cluster of 4 LEDs yet they are all driven together). Overall, well money spent for a flashlight with a really, really sturdy chassis and a really bright lights.
