Works great for bathroom sink.
I was looking for a bottle brush type device to clean the bathroom sink drain that my wife and 4 daughters clog. Normally, I disassemble the entire drain (remove the pop-up, tail piece and trap) and clean everything. A time consuming and disgusting process. This item turn out a lottle better than expected, as initially I was just hoping for something to clean out the drain/tail piece. This brush is small enough to fit inside the pop-up and down the drain tail piece. It will clean the drain without any disassembling required. A huge time savings and it does a great job. Once, when doing this it got hung up on the pop up pieces, but a quick wiggling while turn and it came free. I would definitely recommend this for a sink drain.

Good cleaning tool for sinks
This is one of the best brushes I've found to clear muck from bathroom sink drains every two months or so. I would have liked a stiffer and perhaps a little bigger brush on the end, but it does a good job. I use baking soda and vinegar to clean not only drains, but overflow on sinks as well. I do recommend this brush

Two Stars
Brush inadequate and much smaller than appears in ad. Product does provide some usefulness, however, the head of the brush often get caught on P trap fittings.

POORLY MADE - FATAL FLAW
Would have been really nice and well-made, except for this one fatal flaw. The crimped ferrule is too big and the very sharp edge sticks out in such a way that it hangs up when trying to extract it from the drain. So a little clog can go from bad to worse... with the tool getting hopelessly stuck down the throat of the drain or (even worse!) ripping off the head a few feet inside the pipes! I bought a different brand that does not have this problem --- will throw this one away. Meh.

This was a replacement for the one we have used ...
This was a replacement for the one we have used on our sinks. This works really well at dislodging hair and the gunk that builds up in the drain pipe.

Everyone should have one.
My father-in-law introduced me to these brushes. I recommend that everyone have one on hand and use one every six months in their drains around the house. I don't think our master bathroom sink had every seen a brush since the house was originally built. We are the third owners and this does a far better job than drain cleaners on slow drains. I shouldn't have any drain issues again when using this periodically. The brush seems a little skimpy compared to the one my father-in-law has, but it still does the job. A slight bend of the brush where it meets the cable will help it push past the trap easier.

Better than the liquids
It works! I prefer this to the stuff that looks like liquid napalm or whatever it is. I have dogs and I can't have that stuff around the house. They can and do get into everything. (I have big dogs.) It's too dangerous for them and not so great for the pipes. Simple & easy & inexpensive.
