I did my research. I looked at professional reviews of what some of the better cords are out there. Some cheap cords can quit working pretty fast, and can sometimes fry your phone because the cord components are not high quality.Anker has some of the best products out there and their cords are compatible with IPhone and Android.The cords themselves feel stronger than the original cords that came with my Samsung. I bought one for my IPod Touch (yes, I'm still using it) and then just bought this 2-pack for my Samsung. My sister liked them, so she bought a red 2-pack so we could keep them straight (I bought black)! And I love the 6 foot length! The 3 footer just doesn't work well when you're lying in bed and trying to charge the phone at the same time!Overall, I am completely happy with my purchase, and when my other cords wear out, I'll be replacing them with Anker!(Although it may sound like it, I was NOT compensated for this review)

Charging speeds have been fast and stable, even when powering my Galaxy S10 or transferring data.After a few weeks of daily use, there’s no fraying, no loose connections, and performance remains top-notch. Definitely worth it for the price and quality.

I ordered this cable because I was using the cheap cords from Dollar Tree. I needed a cable to transmit data between my android and laptop. This cord worked very well. If you have struggled to move data between your android and computer - it's likely because your cable doesn't support data transmission. These cables do. The cable also seems very durable and very flexible which should greatly extend the life of the cable over time. I recommend this product.

I travel a lot in my car and stay in lots of hotels for work. These charging cords have been very nice to have. I am able to charge my newer version iPhone in my car with enough length to have my phone where I need it in the car for calls or GPS. USB ends fit well with no play. Cables are of standard thickness with a durable outer. I’m very pleased with and will be buying more in a longer version.

When you buy Anker cables you’re buying a tank cable form. I’m slowly replacing my usb-a cables with usb-c cables. I’ve never had an Anker cable fail or break and so far these have been the same. This is the shorter ones but I have a couple of 10’ long ones where the wall plugs are far away and hard to reach. I got the darker color because it doesn’t show dirt and grime like the white ones do.

These cables fit snugly into my devices and adapter plugs. They help me charge my phone very fast. They are super long. They are thick enough that they’re durable and do not fray, but they are still flexible enough to coil or run through small openings (e.g., in an entertainment center). They are very high quality and therefore well worth the price.
