I initially ordered these lip stains for a trip to Disney where I knew I wouldn't want to re-apply my lip color and would be going on rides (so didn't want to have my hair stuck to lip gloss/lipstick all day), and these lip stains were perfect! As soon as they dried, there was no smudging and they stayed put throughout the entire day & night. They really dry down like water and don't feel like anything on your lips which I appreciate. The color payoff is also insane - the red is seriously red and it looked great in pictures. The only issue I had was that it truly is a stain, so be careful where/how you apply because once it dries (which is quick) it's not coming off. I had to really scrub my lips with makeup remover/micellar water to get the color mostly off in order to try a different color the next day. I honestly probably could have not touched it with makeup remover and left it on for at least another day even with eating snacks all day at the park. Unless you need to have uncolored lips the following day, I highly recommend this lip stain!

I use these before I go to bed so they have time to soak in, and they stay longer the next day. A Fantastic multitasker which makes a great blush. For the price they are great.

Lip stains are a good replacement for more pricier lipsticks or glosses. I was able to get my hands on this pack and the colors promoted looked nice. The tint has a lasting effect and the color stays well throughout the day. This tint however really dehydrates the lips. At the end of the day my lips end up pretty chapped and I usually end up going to sleep with Vaseline applied. The texture is also really slippery and a little watery. I didn’t expect it to come this way so my first few tries at application wasn’t the most successful. I like going multiple layers of the tint to give it a stronger look. The bottles did start to leak a little and it was an irritating mess. The stain wasn’t too bad, but the bottle could be made a little more sealing. This lip tint is real pretty on the lips and lasts well throughout the day. It isn’t great for day to day use as it dries up the lips, and it’s a little hard to apply at first.

It has super intense colors, is lightweight, transfer-free, and lasts for hours, even while eating or drinking. The finish is natural, like real ink, and the price is great. But it's not all perfect: it can dry out your lips a bit, especially if you already have sensitive lips. The flavor isn't the richest (it has a chemical aftertaste), and the bottle is tiny, although it goes a long way. Plus, since it's liquid, you have to apply it carefully to avoid smudging or smearing. In short: if you're looking for a long-lasting, pigmented, and affordable tint, it's worth a try! Just make sure to moisturize your lips well beforehand.

Oh boy. Where to start. I have purchased several different kinds of these clearish lip stains. They are generally pretty effective and soft in color. THESE - yikers. Unless you like a super weird red, very dark stain - I recommend passing. I will say that the stain stays on at least 24 hours. Which would be so awesome, unless you hate the color! I supposedly got 4 different tubes, all basically the very same color in the tube and on your skin. After my experience I tried all 4 on my wrist - all the same color with very little difference. I just couldn't like the color - so I tossed all four. And expensive lesson - but I couldn't possibly wear it. Beware - very weird red - all four tubes are basically the same color - which is also weird right? There is a lighter gel color, but it's just as dark as the others. And the color lasts at least 24 hours, even while using makeup remover to remove it! It didn't taste weird - Just wish they were more neutral colors, natural. The fakey red isn't me.Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. This is a great little dupe for the Benefit lip stains.. I love the colors.. Make sure you put it on lightly and like rub your lips together or it can get REALLY bright really quick.. But if you put it on light and spread it with your finger or lips, it does a really nice subtle lip stain. Tastes good too.

Pleasantly surprised with this product. I love that the color is just enough that I can see my lips but not crazy bright. The oil goes on smooth and does not have a bad smell or taste. It my go to for lip color.

Subtle and long lasting. Love them!
