The Celimax booster and serum are both phenomenal! It’s everything they say and more. My skin is highly sensitive. I also have large pores that usually collect face lotion rather than absorb it. This cream is non-greasy, absorbed in the skin just as described and is effective. There’s no smell to the ingredients. The retinol itself is highly effective with skin irritation. I place the retinol on my skin per the directions followed by the cream. I’ve been using this for only about 3 days and already notice a difference in my skin. This is an amazing product for the price! I also have the spot firming retinol and it does a fabulous job as well. I plan on getting the facial wash next. I can’t wait to try it.

I like that the celimax The Vita A Retinal Shot Tightening Booster and The Vita A Retinol Shot Tightening Serum give you both retinal and retinol in the duo. I especially appreciate that the strength of both products is disclosed, which makes it easier to understand what you’re actually using. I do wish celimax would make a single product combining both retinol and retinal, though, because that would reduce the number of products and steps in my routine. Both products are very moisturizing and hydrating, and I love that they don’t leave a yellow stain on my pillowcase, which can be an issue with some retinal products. I also really like that both contain peptides, adding some extra functionality beyond the retinoids. The biggest downside for me is that both products tend to leave my face looking shiny and oily. The Retinal Shot Booster also doesn’t spread as easily as I’d like, so I end up using more product than necessary, which probably contributes to the oily appearance. It also gives my skin a slightly prickly sensation when applied—similar to spicules—but it’s not particularly uncomfortable. I also think the retinol concentration in The Vita A Retinol Shot Tightening Serum is fairly low, especially for someone who has already used retinol products. I’ve tried several retinal and retinol products, and while these are decent, I haven’t seen anything extraordinary in terms of results. Overall, I think these are good options for someone who is just getting started with retinol or retinal, especially if you want something hydrating and peptide-infused. For more experienced retinoid users looking for noticeable anti-aging results, though, I think there are stronger options available.
